Rosalia Nasretdinova, whose photo will decorate any cover, is a member of the Russian swimming team, a multiple winner of various youthful swimming tournaments. The transition to the adult level is not going so smoothly, big victories have not yet been achieved, however, the twenty-year-old athlete has good prospects for the future.
The beginning of the way
Rosalia Nasretdinova was born in Moscow in 1997. However, her family’s roots are in the Pilna area, the village of Krasnaya Gorka, from where Khaidar Nasretdinov arrived. The girl does not forget about her origin and from time to time visits her native land. In particular, she was noted by the fact that already in the status of a participant in the Olympic Games she took part in a march dedicated to the day of the Pilna region, leading the delegation of the village of Krasnye Gorki.
The girl was engaged in swimming from early childhood, she was brought up in the walls of the Lokomotiv CSK. Rosa's coach is A. S. Nemtyrev. Leadership ambitions began to emerge from the very beginning of training, she certainly strove to overtake all her rivals and gave all the best to all competitions, worrying heavily about defeats.
By the age of fourteen, his favorite swimming style, which the crawl became, was determined. However, the second love of Rosalia Nasretdinova in swimming was a butterfly stroke. Aggressive, explosive style suits the emotional girl as well as possible.
Transitional age
Already at the age of fifteen, in the biography of Rosalia Nasretdinova, participation in the adult championship of Russia was noted. In 2012, the girl participated in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay race, and also took silver as part of the 4x50 meter team. The girl’s body was perfectly suited for a short blasting operation. Distances of 50 meters become crowned for her, which is in the rabbit, and in the butterfly.
Already in 2014, she managed to take gold at a distance of 50 meters freestyle, she also collected a whole scattering of awards in relay forms. However, certain problems remained when working at a distance. Furiously starting the first stretch, Rosalia then sharply gave up and could not maintain high speed. At 100 meters, she passed less confidently, and the two-hundred meter was her Achilles heel.
International victories
Nasretdinova Rosalia quite early began to represent the country's honor in international competitions. Already in 2012, she went to the European Short Course Swimming Championships to participate in the 4x50 meter mixed relay. A Russian record was set, which was enough for a silver medal.
Continental competitions held in pools with short lanes become especially successful for her. A year later, Rosalia becomes a two-time European champion, participating in the victorious races of teams in the mixed doubles and in the combined relay at her beloved fifty. To the gold awards, she added bronze for third place in the relay 4x50 meters freestyle among girls.
At one of the national tournaments, Rosa selected for the European Championship, however, she chose to participate in the World Youth Games in Nanjing. She explained this by the fact that at the Youth Olympics you can speak only once in a lifetime and do not miss this chance. Being the most famous in the youth national team of the country, Rosalia stood out among peers. She easily beat rivals from other countries, taking gold medals at distances of 50 meters freestyle and butterfly. She also helped the team win silver in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay.
Adaptation difficulties in adult swimming
In 2015, a student at the Moscow Institute of Physical Culture, Rosalia Nasretdinova, participated in the World Universiade, which was held in Gwangju. Here she stood out clearly against the general background and was able to swim the fastest at a distance of 50 meters by a crawl. To personal gold, she added silver in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay.
In 2016, Rosalia was able to successfully perform at the national selection and earn a ticket to participate in the Olympic Games. The swimmer performed at a distance of 50 meters freestyle and as part of the women's 4x100 relay team. However, the level of resistance at the world forum was immeasurably high, and Nasretdinova was left without medals.
Today, Rosalia is only twenty years old, and she is persistently preparing for her second Olympics, which will be held in Tokyo in 2020.
