Pavel Nedved was born on August 30, 1972 in a place called Cheb. This is one of the most popular and successful Czech footballers in history. His career is rich in various awards and achievements, so it is worth telling about them.
Young years
Pavel Nedved grew up in a suburb of Cheb, in a village called Skalna. This place is located next to the Bavarian border. The boy’s craving for football manifested itself early - from the age of five he played at a local club called “Tatran”. At 13, he was noticed by representatives of the Red Star and invited to play with him. But for a long time this team was not able to detain a talented football player. He stayed there only a year. And then he moved to FC Skoda from the city of Pilsen.
The real career of a professional football player began. In 1991/92, he played in the Prague club Dukla and began playing in the first Czechoslovak League. In 19 matches in which he entered the field, Pavel Nedved scored three goals. And after that he moved to the club, which stood an order of magnitude higher than his team - in FC Sparta.
Careers in Italy
From 1992 to 1996, Pavel Nedved played for the Sparta Prague club. There he became one of the key players. It was in this team that the Czech player began to unfold. And he began to notice the leading European clubs. It is therefore not surprising that in 1996 he was invited to join the Roman “Lazio”. The Italians hardly “recaptured” the player from “PSV”. For $ 4,500,000, Pavel Nedved became a Lazio footballer. And in his first season in Rome, he scored 11 goals for his new club. And in the next, second season, he helped the club win the Italian Cup.
Five years, the Czech midfielder played for the “Lazio”. He was interested in Madrid “Atletico”, but Pavel Nedved is a principled footballer. He refused the transition, citing his allegiance to the Roman club.
But in 2001 Turin “Juventus” offered “Lazio” and the player himself a very favorable offer, which they could not refuse. So for $ 50 million (!) Nedved joined this team, thereby replacing Zinedine Zidane, who moved to Real Madrid. The footballer immediately became a key player in the left flank.

But this is not all that can be noted when talking about a player like Pavel Nedved. The goals of the 2002/03 season made him the true leader of the Turin. It was he who pulled the team to victory in tournaments. 9 times he hit the opponents ’goal and in all matches he made assists that helped the others either score or make this attempt.
I would like to pay special attention to the situation with the 2006 corruption scandal. Then, many Juventus players hastened to break contracts. However, as was said before, Nedved is a principled and loyal player. He, along with the rest of the faithful Turinians, helped “Juventus” escape into Serie A from the lower division. Retirement
The final season was also successful. And it began with the qualifying matches of the Champions League. In the first round, Nedved scored “Fiorentina”, then - two goals, “Bologna”. And then, after playing with Chelsea, he officially announced his decision to end his career. On May 17, he held the five hundredth match in the framework of the championships of different countries. And the next game, the 501st, becomes the last for him. Nedved, however, was thinking of delaying completion for a while, and Inter Milan even made him an offer, but still decided to leave football already.

He has achieved a lot. He became the champion of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy (several times), the owner of various Cups and Super Cups (Czech Republic, Italy, UEFA). It is safe to say that Pavel Nedved is one of the most outstanding players in Europe. And this is a universally recognized fact.
