Moscow dolphinariums are full-fledged entertainment complexes that hold water performances with the participation of smart and cheerful animals - dolphins.
Performances
The two-hour program, in which one number is replaced by another, even more exciting and colorful, does not leave anyone indifferent, the children squeal with delight, their parents sit with a happy smile on their faces. Each dolphin, as a qualified artist, perfectly prepared for the performance of mentors and full-time trainers, is waiting for its exit “behind the scenes”. Moscow dolphinariums are a real circus on the water. The programs are rich, set according to a proven scenario, but most importantly - funny, well-groomed and just wonderful animals that try to bring joy to people.
Representation
And here a pair of bottlenose dolphins (Black Sea dolphins), in a subtle movement of the hand of the trainer, ripping open the surface of the pool, goes to the middle. The performance begins, full of dizzying jumps, somersault-mortal, swimming racing with your favorite coach on the back. After a duet, a trio of dolphins comes up to the front of the stage - and again somersaults with turns, real balancing act in the water and above it.
Moscow dolphinariums, location and work schedule
In total, Moscow has seven operating dolphinariums.
Moskvarium, located at the All-Russian Exhibition Center, was opened on August 5, 2015. It is an extensive complex consisting of a giant aquarium with ocean inhabitants, a swimming center with dolphins, which includes seven pools where visitors can watch shows and chat with friendly animals. In a separate room there are 80 aquariums in which more than 8 thousand representatives of marine fauna live.
The territory of the Moskvarium exceeds 12,000 square meters; the length of the premises occupied by the exposition is about 600 meters. In the near future, educational seminars of a cognitive nature with a demonstration of documentaries on the underwater world are planned. Visitors are also waiting for a fascinating tour with a visit to the observation deck, from where they can watch the life of dolphins and killer whales in their natural environment. But the main thing is the performance with trained dolphins.
Artists
Moscow dolphinariums can simultaneously represent four species of marine animals. And Moskvarium - even six. These are belugas named Yegor and Dasha. Black Sea dolphins, bottlenose dolphins - Patra, Tina and Mars. Fur seal Ulyana, sea lion named Alice and young walrus walrus Vasilisa. The last representative of the troupe of artists is the black sea cat Dusya. She is small in stature, does not like to swim, but she enjoys riding on the back of a dolphin. Performances of artists are always very entertaining, dolphins throw balls and juggle them, Alice and Vasilisa beat in an alarming bell. Then the sea lioness sets sail to the side and begins to sing, and Yegor whistles to her. Towards the end of the performance, everyone unites their coaches and service staff, who, along the way, treat the artists with fish.
At the end of the program, dolphins and beluga whales swim to the ramp, towards the audience gathered to touch and stroke their pets. To touch the dolphin’s nose, you need to stand on the very edge of the platform and extend your hand palm down. And then one of the artists will surely jump out of the water and lightly touch your palm. Touching the satin skin of a marine animal will remain a pleasant memory for life.
