Everyone would like to have more of this communion in his life. In general, human existence is full of ups and downs. When we experience the latter, we believe in the best, when we are at the peak of the former, then generally, as a rule, we don’t think about anything. What communion are we talking about? It is "encouraging."
Value
What is encouraging? Anything. For example, a person goes to the doctor, as usual, winds himself up, thinks about an imminent death. He comes to the doctor, and he tells him that his illness is just a cold. No, this cough is worth nothing. The common cold is thus an encouraging diagnosis. That is, failure, of course, is unpleasant, but nothing can be done. And this is not as scary as it could be.
In this way almost any person could explain the sacrament that interests us. But our approach differs precisely in that we do not rely on approximate interpretations. Let's see what is hidden behind the meaning of the word “hopeful,” and turn to the dictionary, “hopeful.”
Back to the diagnosis. The common cold leaves the hope of living a little more or more, here someone is lucky and how, while, for example, cancer greatly curbs and deforms human life. Because, even if a person is cured, his life will not be the same. A cold, of course, has no such consequences.
Synonyms
We are ready to repeat again and again that the human mind works differently for everyone. Someone needs reasoning with the use of rich or poor material, and someone needs only one synonym word. But in this case, of course, we use not one word, but a whole battery. So here is the list:
- promising;
- assuring;
- calming.
Yes, the object of research refers to those words that do not tolerate competition, so there are so few of its twin cities. The list does not look encouraging, it is a fact. That is, our promises regarding the battery of synonyms did not materialize. Well, sometimes this happens, hopes tend not to come true at times.
The new name of the old phenomenon
Mysterious subtitle, huh? In fact, behind him lies ordinary optimism. And if everything was so, then we would be of little interest, and, more importantly, no exclusive would happen. And the latter will happen, because in the area of our special attention there is a wonderful phrase “encouraging realism”. We honestly admit to the reader that, having studied the sources, we did not find a more or less sane version of the origin and significance of yet another “realism”. Therefore, they decided to put forward their own version.
It seems that behind this phrase lies ordinary optimism. You can use the dictionary, or you can formulate it on your own, because it is so simple. Optimism is a worldview in which a person sees the bright sides in life, and even if failures occur, they will soon be forgotten or declared to be “temporary difficulties”. Good rules the world, and evil bashfully hides in the shadows.
So, based on the foregoing, it can be assumed that optimism and encouraging realism are one and the same phenomenon. Imagine a person looks at reality and sees in it only signs that inspire hope. Let's list, to make it clear:
- Dismissed from work - there will be more free time.
- They stole a car - you have to walk more or buy a bike.
- No money for lunch - an unplanned fasting day.
And there are hundreds of such proposals, but we will focus on three. The reader may say that we mock and distort the truth. In fact, some exaggeration and grotesque is needed only in order to better visualize the phenomenon itself.
Who will argue that such a worldview is an encouraging factor? One cannot argue with this. Another thing is that any extreme is destructive.
Another interpretation is possible.
But what if a new form of realism is a compromise between pessimism and optimism? What is the weakness of the human types that adhere to one of the extremes? Some have an impassable dark forest in their minds, while others always have the sun, sea and sand. And here the realism that interests us can be interpreted as harmony between the advantages and disadvantages of reality. True, the search for truth in this respect is complicated by the fact that there are no pure types in reality. Pessimists sometimes rejoice at the sun and the sea, and the shield of optimism is cracking under the pressure of failures.
We introduced the reader to our version of the meaning and significance of the new realism, which history did not know yet, and let him think whether it is true or not.
