Automation for greenhouses. Watering plants and ventilation

In modern greenhouses, a drip irrigation system is used. Greenhouse plants do not require sprinkling, since dust practically does not settle on them, and they are not exposed to pollution, unlike plantations in the open.

Automation for greenhouses
Automatic watering in the greenhouse is carried out by an extensive system of pipelines and irrigation devices. Together with water, it supplies all the necessary nutrients and fertilizers directly to the roots of plants. In greenhouses, evaporation is almost completely absent, which is an important factor for growing.

The irrigation composition, its dosage, and the irrigation schedule are controlled by the system itself. It allows you to adjust these parameters as needed without daily monitoring of the process. As it was said, watering is automatic, it produces processing evenly and constantly, regardless of weather conditions outside. The presence of sensors in more modern systems allows you to change its mode and intensity depending on the air temperature. Automation for greenhouses with a large area implies the presence of more complex mechanisms. Here, watering is carried out by a special cart moving along the guides, and the doses and the schedule for their movement are controlled by a computer program.

Automation for greenhouses has several advantages that affect overall performance. Firstly, it reduces the load on workers, and secondly, it reduces water and fertilizer consumption by up to sixty percent, since the irrigation composition is supplied directly to the roots, excluding the "empty" enrichment of the earth around the plant. In addition, automatic irrigation prevents the formation of crust, which could interfere with the flow of oxygen. Water does not get on leaves and fruits, which excludes infection with their fungal diseases.

This approach to watering (under the root) prevents the emergence of weeds, all the necessary nutrients enter the plants. This is an important factor affecting the yield and consumption of water and fertilizers.

Automatic watering
In addition to watering under the root, there is automation for greenhouses, implying a drainage option. Water is supplied through a special pipeline located along the entire length of the greenhouse. This type has several advantages: large irrigation area, unpretentious system - allows the use of water of low quality.

Automatic watering in the greenhouse
In addition to irrigation, the ventilation system is automated in greenhouses , which also affects the yield and growth process. It does not imply the presence of complex mechanisms and devices. The system includes a conventional window, equipped with a thermal actuator, which opens it and closes after cooling the working element in it. It is advisable to place such window parts in the upper part of the room, since warm air accumulates there. For better circulation in the greenhouse, fans are used, which reduces the ventilation time.

Automation for greenhouses helps to increase productivity and reduce the cost of consumables - fertilizers, water. The system is constantly being modernized, due to which this type of activity becomes more attractive for employees.
