What does this concept mean?
The first word in the term "natural bodybuilding" indicates the rejection of the use of any steroids. Yes, these drugs incredibly accelerate the muscle building of the athlete, but at the same time they disrupt the functioning of all body systems. Natural bodybuilding offers a different path. It consists in the rejection of special drugs. Of course, the formation of a relief body in this case occurs over a longer period. However, the positive thing is that the pumped muscles are created naturally without the help of chemical additives and steroids. At the same time, the state of health improves.
Competition
Today it’s hard to imagine any sport without doping. This is especially true for bodybuilding. In contrast to sports, which use steroids harmful to the body, natural bodybuilding is used. Competitions on it have been held since the mid-nineties of the last century.
In Russia, there is an official organization that supports this sport. This is the Federation of Natural Bodybuilding, which was founded in March 2010. Its president is Stefan Chapovsky, and one of the most honorable members is Arnold Schwarzenegger, who supports the very idea of the existence of this sport.
The first natural bodybuilding championship in Russia took place in November 2010. Athletes who were divided into four age groups were allowed to participate in it . The first of them included girls and boys up to eighteen years old. Next came the juniors and juniors until the age of twenty-two. The third group was represented by adult athletes. Their age exceeded 22 years. The "veteran" group was made up of masters over forty-five years old.
Differences between bodybuilding varieties
As for the training process, among “straight people” and “chemists” it practically does not differ. But at the same time, there are some features in the classes for those who prefer natural bodybuilding. An athlete taking steroid drugs is capable of longer training sessions for one to two hours. The process of muscle growth in him occurs in a larger volume. In this, the main role is played by stimulation of the necessary receptors.
Natural bodybuilding adheres to a slightly different scenario. The training program in this sport is designed for forty-forty-five minutes. The fact is that in the first 20 minutes glycogen is consumed in the muscles, and later in the liver. Longer workouts will be harmful to the body. The athlete in this case will simply lose muscle mass. In addition, the body is overtrained.
The main difference between “straights” and “chemists” is the process of influencing the DNA of the cell with the information that reports on protein synthesis. In athletes taking steroids, this process takes place at a higher speed and in a larger volume.

Another result is obtained with increasing loads. In this case, at each workout, the body is subjected to a kind of stress, contributing to the production of additional anabolic hormones, to which the muscles must adapt. As a result, their growth occurs.
Increase working weight
For those who prefer to engage in natural bodybuilding, the progression of the loads should look like this: on Monday, a bench press with a weight of 80 kg is made 10 times in three repetitions. Next Monday, weight is increasing. It should be 88 kg. In this case, it will be necessary to squeeze out six to ten times (how much the body will be able to). An increase in load can also be given with a weight of 80 kg. In this case, three repetitions of eleven times are required. Thus, the essence of the methodology of progression of loads becomes clear. Working weight should be increased. It does not matter how this is done (by increasing the number of approaches or the load itself).
Periodization
To achieve a natural physiological ceiling in natural bodybuilding can be another way. It consists in the periodization of training. This scheme is quite simple.
