About ten years ago, only hairdressers and mothers of girls knew how to weave pigtails . Moreover, they were familiar from the power of a couple of tricks and techniques. Today, braiding is a whole trend in hairdressing. And the technique has become more complex and diverse. Scythe has become fashionable to weave not only girls but also women. You can list for a long time what are the ways of braiding. But today we will single out the main ones. Almost everyone knows how to make a normal braid. Here we will build on this, talking about other methods of weaving.
1. The French braid. The most common method after the simple one is executed on its basis, but as weaving, each time a new strand is captured alternately on each side.
Performance. To get started, collect the hair from the front of the head, divide it into three parts and bind them once as a simple braid. When you intend to attach a side strand for the second time, first grab a thin loose strand from the temporal region and add it to the main one. Do the same on the other side. Repeat these steps, going down along the head until you reach the neck. Now continue to weave the usual braid, which must be fixed at the end with an elastic band. Decorate as you wish.
Many other methods of weaving, like the French, involve the capture of individual free parts of the hair and weaving them into the main braid. There is one secret how to weave pigtails with thin, even strands: grab the side parts with your fingernail on the little finger, while the other fingers hold the remaining braid elements intertwined. With the fingernail of the little finger, like with a comb, you can evenly part and gently separate parts of the hair. But if this is not convenient for you, use a comb with a handle ending in a thin, narrow end.
2. The French braid is inverted. It differs from ordinary French in that the side strands are superimposed between the other two not from above, but from below. Thus, the braid looks unusual, as if it were laid on top of the head. This hairstyle has remained fashionable for several seasons in a row. In addition, having learned how to do it, you will already know how to weave pigtails that are based on it. Which ones? For example, openwork, when part of the hair is slightly pulled out of a braided braid, forming loops. You will have to practice a little to do it smoothly and accurately. If the loops are made the same, the braid becomes like lace; if they are released on one side only, the braid can be twisted into a flower. It turns out an incredibly beautiful hairstyle that creates a romantic image.
Performance. Gather hair from the front of the head and divide into three parts. Start weaving a braid, winding a side strand between the other two under the bottom. Repeat on the other side. And each time, taking away from the side a new free strand and attaching it to the main one, start from below under the other two. This is somewhat more complicated and unusual for the fingers than weaving an ordinary French braid, but the thing is in practice. Finish near the neck. Then weave an ordinary braid, but also wind the side strands underneath.
3. Spikelet or fish tail. Also a very beautiful way of weaving. In addition, the texture of the obtained braid is such that light is reflected from the hair in all directions, and they shimmer and shine. Garnish with rhinestones - and you will have a beautiful version of the evening hairstyle.
Performance. Comb all the hair back. Separate from the temples by a thin lock and cross them among themselves in the center below the crown. Holding with your right hand, press them to your head. On the left, grab a new strand and lay it on top of the right. While pressing the entwined parts with your left hand, do the previous steps on the right side. Continuing to cross the strands together, get down to the neck. Now, without letting go of your crossed hair, continue to take new strands from under the resulting ponytail. Secure the end with an elastic band or tape.
