Early career
Anton Sosnin was born on January 27, 1990 in Leningrad. Even in elementary school, his father gave him to the football section. The boy showed zeal and diligence. The first youth team was the St. Petersburg "Change". In this team, he spent from 2003 to 2007.
In 2006, the 16-year-old Sosnin drew attention to the mentor of the double of the St. Petersburg “Zenith” Igor Chugainov. He began to monitor the career of a young defender and soon invited him to his team. Until 2010, Sosnin was considered a Zenit player, however, he did not play a single match for the club.
Premier League debut
In 2010, at the age of 20, Anton Sosnin made his debut in the Premier League. Footballer goes on lease from Zenit to Samara's Wings of the Soviets. At the very end of the year, “Wings of the Soviets” signed an official contract with Anton. In the transitional season of 2011/12, Sosnin was the main player of the team, having played 31 matches on the field. According to the results of the first stage, “Wings of the Soviets” took 14th place and fought for survival. In the decisive matches, they managed to protect themselves from relegation, rising to 12th place.
Player "Kuban"
At the very beginning of 2012, Sosnin Anton Vasilievich signed a contract with the Krasnodar Kuban. At that time, the team played in the Premier League, in which he played the transition tournament. The first two seasons in the new team he could not gain a foothold in the main team and regularly go on the field. In two years, he played a total of only 8 games.
At the same time, the team performed very successfully. In 2012/13 she finished in 5th place, only 2 points behind the Makhachkala “Anji”, who won bronze medals. In 2013/2014, “Kuban” remained the 8th. In the championship and cup of the country, Sosnin was still a rare guest on the field, but in the matches of European cups the coaching staff used him regularly.
The struggle for victory in the Europa League “Kuban” began with the 3rd qualification round. The rivals went to the Scottish “Motherwell”. Against the representative of the British football school, Krasnodar played confidently, winning 2-0 away and 1-0 at home.
