How to cook tuna

To prepare this dish, you need a sauce for which fifty grams of butter, one onion, carefully sliced, fifty grams of flour, six hundred milliliters of milk, half a teaspoon of mustard, salt and ground pepper to taste, as well as one hundred and seventy five grams, are taken as ingredients. cheddar cheese, previously grated, and four hundred grams of canned tuna, which should be broken into small pieces.

Now directly on how to cook tuna. The first thing to do is the sauce. But, before that, do not forget to turn on the oven so that it warms up to at least one hundred and eighty degrees.

Then melt the butter in a large saucepan. Put chopped onion in it and continue to pass for four to six minutes. The onion should acquire a golden hue. Now it's time for flour. It should be added two minutes before the saucepan is removed from the heat.

After that, add salt and pepper to the resulting mass and pour milk into the same. Cook the sauce until it acquires a thick consistency, as a result of which it will remain on a spoon. Once this happens, add the tuna, cheese and mustard, and simmer the whole mass for another two minutes.

At this time, take a medium-sized heat-resistant form and grease it with oil. At the bottom of this form, put the tuna sauce on top of which lay a plate of puff pastry. Make the next layer the same way. But, add some more tomatoes. This is the sequence in which you continue to tuna. Sprinkle the remaining tomatoes and grated cheese on top. After that, cover the dish with foil and set it to bake in the oven for fifteen to twenty minutes.

After this time, remove the foil and leave the tuna in the oven already open for another fifteen minutes, that is, until a golden brown crust appears.
