Omari Tetradze (real surname Osipov) is a pupil of the Avaza children's and youth sports school in Tbilisi. He started his professional football career in the Dynamo team (Tbilisi), who played in the championship of the Soviet Union. In the major league of the USSR championship, he spent three seasons, played 24 matches.
Then the troubled times began in the country, in Georgia, in football. Georgia, one of the first republics of the USSR, proclaims its independence. In the newly formed championship, the best clubs hastily gathered hold the first independent championship. Tetradze stands for the Mertskhali team from the town of Ozurgeti.
