Two years later, Chudinov was able to reach the finals of the Russian championship, where he lost to Matvey Korobov, but the athlete’s technique, progress and personal success allowed him to enter the Russian team at the 2008 World Cup, held in Moscow. In the world championship, he lost in the semifinals to boxer Alfonso Blanco from Venezuela. As a result, this year was the last for the athlete as an amateur. In total, during this time, the Russian account had 155 victories in 170 matches.

In 2009, Dmitry Chudinov decided to raise the bar for fighting in the ring and, together with his younger brother, went to America, where he began his professional career.

For two and a half years the Russian entered the ring 7 times and never once left him defeated. In only one case, the judges recorded a draw; all the other 6 matches were for Dmitry. Unhappy with the level of rivals, in 2012, the Russian boxer decided to return to his homeland, which, as it turned out later, was connected with the bankruptcy of the company that invited the brothers overseas.

The first rivals after returning to the boxer were strong fighters from Colombia - Jonathan Ricard and Milton Nunez, defeating whom, the Russian won the title of interim middleweight champion according to PABA - the Pan-Asian Boxing Association. In May 2013, Dmitry defended his title, early defeating the American Grady Brewer.

In the summer of the same year, Chudinov continued his victorious march, having won the WBA International middleweight title, having won by technical knockout from Venezuelan Juan Novoa. In the winter of 2013, Dmitry became the interim world champion according to the WBA, defended him twice during the next year. In the first match, the Russian inflicted the first defeat in his career on the Danes Patrick Nielsen, confidently beating him in terms of points. And the second opponent of the boxer was the Frenchman Mehdi Buadla, who was knocked out in the third round.

And in 2015, the third time entering the ring to defend the title, Dmitry Chudinov suffered the first defeat on a professional level. In the 17th fight in his career, the Russian lost by technical knockout to the Briton Chris Eubank Jr., the son of the legendary boxer. After that, the Siberian fighter has never lost, having gained 6 victories in a row at the moment. At the same time, in the summer of 2016, Dmitry made his light heavyweight debut, winning by the unanimous decision of the judges against the Latvian Andrei Pokumeyko.

Dmitry has a younger brother - Fedor, who also goes through a difficult boxing path after him. In 2007, on March 1, Dmitry Chudinov married his girlfriend Galina, whom he had met for several years. The couple had a first-born in 2008, who was named Daniel, and in 2015, Galina gave her husband and a second son, Alexander.
