Cooking at home: do-it-yourself ice cream

Nothing chills on a hot summer day like delicious cold ice cream. This delicacy for many years pleases anyone, even an adult, even a child. But, unfortunately, lately it has become almost impossible to find a natural product on the shelves - without dyes, preservatives, flavorings and other harmful additives. Manufacturers are now trying to save on everything. Well, let them save, and we will make tasty and healthy ice cream with our own hands, at home. After all, this is actually not so difficult.

To make your own ice cream, we need:

  • 4 egg yolks;
  • 250 ml of milk;
  • 250 g cream;
  • vanillin;
  • 100 g of sugar (icing sugar).

How to make do-it- yourself ice cream at home:

  1. Bring the milk to a boiling point and immediately remove from the stove.
  2. Add vanillin to the hot milk and let it stand for 20 minutes.
  3. While milk is infused, beat the yolks with sugar thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
  4. In the resulting mixture, gradually add the cooled milk with vanilla and cream, mix everything and put it on the fire again. As soon as the mass begins to thicken and a film appears, remove from the stove. Important: do not allow the ice cream to boil, as soon as the bubbles begin to appear, immediately reduce the heat. Otherwise, the whole mixture may simply curl.
  5. Put the mass in a cool place and let cool to room temperature. It will be good if you strain the future ice cream through a strainer - so you get a homogeneous mass without lumps.

  6. Now you can put it in the refrigerator (not in the freezer!) For 2 hours. After the specified time, remove the workpiece and beat thoroughly with a mixer at low speed for 3 minutes. The mass will become uniform and smooth. Now remove the ice cream for 2 hours in the freezer.
  7. Time has passed, remove it again and beat again with a mixer for two minutes. At this point, you can add nuts, chocolate chips, or berries to the ice cream.
    And if you like the classic ice cream, then do not add anything.
  8. Well, now the ice cream is almost ready, it remains to pour it into molds or leave it as it is, but be sure to put it back in the freezer so that it finally freezes. After 3 hours, the dessert will be completely ready.
  9. Now you know how to make homemade ice cream with your own hands, and you can treat them to your family and friends! And most importantly - you will be one hundred percent sure of its harmlessness.

There is another option how to make ice cream with your own hands. It is even simpler than the previous one. True, here the composition will include a store ice cream. When choosing it, pay special attention to the composition indicated on the label: it should not contain water or other impurities, only natural products: milk, butter, sugar, etc.

  • ice cream (100 g);
  • milk (50 ml);
  • berries (fresh or frozen).

Cooking method:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a deep glass and beat with a blender or mixer until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
