In the quarter finals, they began with an unexpected victory at a party over Magnitogorsk Metallurg 2-1. But already in the second match, more powerful opponents put Lada in place - 7: 0. Togliatti lost in the series 1: 3. Evgeny Bodrov spent 20 games on the site. Marked by one assists.
He also managed to participate with the team in the Intercontinental Cup. Despite the faded game in the domestic championship, Togliatti became the first Russian team to win this international tournament. This is an analogue of the UEFA football cup.

Bodrov began the 2009/10 season in Tolyatti, but soon moved to Kazan Ak Bars. With the new team reached the playoffs. At the same time, “Lada” was not among the 16 best teams of the tournament.
