How it all started
The village was founded in 1825. It served as a sanitary checkpoint and was called Quarantine. Of course, the glory of the great commander reached these places. Modern life
Now about 18,000 people live in the village. Mostly the population is engaged in agriculture. There are 6 schools, 3 kindergartens, a cultural center, a hospital, shops, an Orthodox church named after the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love. She was consecrated in 1993. Several chapels were built in the village: the Nativity of Christ, St. Thomas, St. Panteleimon, as well as the Assumption of the Mother of God.
