The cycle of "38 parrots"
The writer has created scripts for ten animated films that tell the audience about the funny adventures of the mischievous Monkey, the serious Baby Elephant, the judicious Parrot and the Boa, constantly thinking about something. The cycle got its name from the first series, which tells how animals measured the length of the Boa. It was released in 1976 and has since been regularly broadcast by various domestic children's channels. In addition to her, nine more episodes enter the cycle, the last one was released in 1991.
The cycle "Kitten named Woof"
Oster Gregory made a screenwriter for yet another cycle known to all Soviet children, in which viewers get acquainted with a kitten with the sonorous name of Gav and his faithful friend Sharik. Cartoons about the adventures of two
bosom friends teach young viewers what real friendship means, how adults should take care of children. The first series was released in 1976, the last - in 1982. In total, the cycle includes five cartoons.
"A Tale with Details"
Tales of Gregory Oster, according to the writer himself, are his best creations, but for some reason they are not in such demand among publishers as other works that have become cult. The first "Tale with Details" was published in 1989. One of the heroes - the director of the carousel - tells seven horses fairy tales every night. And now the time comes for the latter, about the boy Fedya and his adventures, which, together with details about the secondary characters, occupies the bulk of the work.
"Little monkeys"
The series of cartoons about monkeys, the script for which Oster Gregory wrote, includes seven episodes. In each series, five nimble young monkeys fall into different alterations, and their mother is forced to come to their aid and deal with the consequences. Either they flee to the city, then they save the pastry shop from the robbers, then they go on a country trip and get acquainted with the human family, then they take part in putting out the fire, then they disrupt the play, or they pretend to be sick and steal
an ambulance. The first cartoon was released in 1983, the last - in 1997. It is noteworthy that one of the authors of the central song “In Every Little Child” was the leader of the “Time Machine” group Andrei Makarevich.
"Bad advice"
Everyone knows Gregory Oster as the author of several children's books containing poems with harmful advice. At one time, this work caused widespread excitement among parents. Some have argued that such advice can cause children to behave badly. Others defended the writer and said that it would be easier for the guys to learn the rules of behavior in a comic form. To resolve the dispute, a survey of young readers was required, which unequivocally stated that "Bad Advice" by Grigory Oster is a fun and interesting book, but they are not going to act as it is written in it. The characters of the book, according to the author, were copied from his children and neighboring children. Poems are written in simple and understandable language for young readers, equipped with funny jokes. All this allows the children themselves to understand what actions can be considered correct and which are not. This method of education, according to many psychologists, is much more effective than the traditional one.
Most modern children know the Soviet writer Grigory Oster. Poems by this author are rightfully considered a model of children's literature. In Soviet times, several writers came to her who quickly became famous: Samuel Marshak, Eduard Uspensky, Grigory Oster. Their books are constantly being reprinted, as they teach children good in an interesting, simple and understandable way.
