The Salavat Yulaev Sports Palace, in which the club of the Continental Hockey League accepts its rivals, was built not in any place, but on the hockey itself, simulated. Here in the 60s of the last century, a hockey box with natural ice was located, which was called Trud and was home to a strong team of the second or third echelons of the Soviet hockey club Salavat Yulaev. Today Ufa Arena is the largest sports facility with artificial ice in Bashkiria.

In fact, the Arena Ufa is not one, but a complex of two arenas. The first is a large ice rink in with a hall for 8070 seats, with a total area of 29,070 square meters. m, as well as ground parking. If the first was built exclusively by Bashkir construction organizations by 2008 (on the 450th anniversary of the voluntary accession of Bashkiria to Russia), then the second "ripened" by 2011. Simultaneously with the commissioning of the second part, repair and modernization of the first was carried out. The construction was erected on the state funds of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Bashneft group of companies.
On the ground floor of the large arena there are locker rooms, a referee room, technical rooms, massage, sauna, and a garage for ice machines.
On the floors from the second to the fourth there are exits to the corresponding tiers of the stands. The third tier is special, there are VIP-boxes, a press box, a restaurant, commentators, lodges for the disabled, as well as a restaurant.
The hall itself is equipped with modern audio, video and other systems, up to fire protection.
A small part of the “Ufa Arena” is not so large. With an ice field and stands everything fits on one floor.
Naturally, the small arena is primarily intended for training, and the main one - for official matches.
Do not hockey alone
Despite the hockey specialization, “Ufa Arena” is universal and is able to host competitions in other sports. So, sometimes wrestlers and volleyball players stay here. Concerts and other cultural events are also held here.
