At the end of 2011, the management of VVV-Venlo announced a number of proposals for the player from leading teams in Germany, England and Russia. And on the seventh of January 2012, the Dutch club reached an agreement with CSKA on the transfer of Ahmed to the Moscow team. The player’s transfer amount was 5 million euros. Venlo received money, and the army club received a young promising player. The contract is valid for 5 years.
