In the futsal game, the rules say that the field should be 28 to 40 meters long and 16 to 20 meters wide, respectively. The penalty area is a semicircle with a diameter of 15.16 m. The zone is extended 6 meters from the goal line, as well as from each of the rods. At the edges of the penalty area is rounded. The length of the gate is 3 m and the height is 2 m.
In futsal, a playground can be 25 to 42 m long and 14 to 25 m wide. Standards for official competitions are 40 by 20 meters. The dimensions of the penalty area are the same as in futsal. The height of the gate should be equal to 2 m. The distance between the booms is 3 meters.
Ball standards and dimensions
In any sport, the main attribute is a projectile. Here it is a round ball. For a futsal, its circumference should not be more than 60 cm. In amateur sports a smaller ball is used (58 cm).
In futsal, the weight of the projectile can vary from 430 to 460 grams. In children's and women's categories, this indicator is reduced to 380 g. The pressure in the ball should be in the range of 0.6-0.7 atmospheres, that is, so that the first rebound from the surface when falling from 2 meters is no more than 50 cm.
In futsal, the circumference of a projectile varies from 62 to 64 cm. Moreover, its weight can be either 400 or 440 grams. The pressure in the ball should not exceed 0.6 atmospheres (the minimum threshold is 0.4 at.). It is important that the rebound does not exceed 45 cm when falling from 2 m.
Violations and Punishments
The calculation of team fouls in futsal (FIFA) begins on the 6th in a row. Penalty kicks are taken from the place of violation. The opponent has the right to put a wall of all field players.
