If you have lost
the language bar on the screen, then it can easily be restored. Depending on your operating system installed on the computer, there may be several options for solving the problem. We will talk about each of them in more detail in this article.
Where did the language bar go?
The function of displaying the language on the taskbar can be turned on and off at the request of the PC owner (by default it is activated). Of course, users are more comfortable when the panel is constantly present on the screen. If suddenly it disappeared from you, then most likely you, with your careless actions, moved it with the mouse or in some other way. There is also an option that the settings failed, and therefore the parameters were knocked down. Be that as it may, restoring the dashboard is quite simple. Let's look at what needs to be done for each version of the OS.
Instruction manual
If the language bar disappeared in Windows XP:

- Next, from the list of all parameters, select "Language and regional standards."
- In the window that opens, make the tab “Languages” active.
- In this settings section, you can specify which language will be used by default, and key combinations for changing the language.

- Opposite the section of the same name, check the box.
In addition, you can choose how the icon will look exactly - in the form of letters (that is: RU or EN) or in the form of flags. If the language icon on the panel disappeared in Windows 7 or Vista, then the steps to return it will be as follows:
- We go to the "Control Panel".
- Then we visit the same section - “Language and Regional Standards”.
- Select the “Language” tab, then click on the “Details” link.
- Select the item “Fixed in the taskbar”.
