In the syntax of the Russian language there are various types of communication between words in phrases.
Syntactic communication is a language tool that expresses syntactic relationships. That is, attitude is the content side, and communication is formal.
There is no strict correspondence between the relation and the form of its expression, that is, several types of syntactic relations can correspond to the same type of relations, and their number can vary depending on the morphological characteristics of the language. For example, the syntactic relations that a subordinate phrase can express with an adjacency connection are circumstantial, definitive, and complex.
The whole variety of syntactic relations can be divided into composition and submission. A composing link is a link based on the equality of the components included in it, a link between units that are single-functional in their syntactic position. This connection exists only in the sentence, that is, the words associated with it do not form phrases.
Collocation with abutment refers to subordinate phrases, that is, those in which one component acts as the main in relation to another. Subordination, in turn, is subdivided into coordination and management and adjoining. The basis of the allocation of these types of communication is a formal criterion that focuses on the grammatical form of the main and dependent words. A subordinate phrase with an adjunction relationship is a phrase in which the dependent word refers to immutable.
In the syntactic connection of this type as a dependent element enter, first of all, adverbs, participles and infinitives: riding a step, running fast, the desire to jump .
Subordinate collocation with matching It is distinguished by a strong connection between components that are consistent among themselves in gender, number and case, and in the case of adjacency, the dependence of the components on each other is minimal. It does not affect grammar and is expressed only at the lexical level.
Some philologists also distinguish noun adjacency, that is, a noun acts as a dependent word in the phrase. If we understand management as a connection dictated by the main word, then all the prepositional forms that enter into definitive or circumstantial relations with the main word are taken out of the equation and qualified as adjacency: according to academic grammar, living under a mountain or a clearing in the forest is subordinate collocation with adjunction connection. In this case, these word forms do not see an objective meaning, but an adverbial one. If management is understood widely, then the question of name adjacency disappears.
The subordinate collocation with the adjunction relationship is characterized in that the dependence of the adjoining component on the main word is not expressed grammatically. She serves only lexical means.
