How did the professional path that Dmitry Shnyakin started? The biography of the future football commentator is quite extraordinary.
Dmitry began his career as a simple columnist on the World Football website. There he worked relatively little - only a year (2005 - 2006).
A serious place in the life of Dmitry Shnyakin is Eurosport, where he served as a correspondent and editor. It was then that, working at Eurosport, Dmitry received his first experience as a sports commentator, as well as a news anchor on the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels. Shnyakin, so to speak, asked for his first real broadcast. At that time, he was only eighteen years old, and he, emboldened, invited Nikolai Saprin, an already established professional, to work out a friendly match together.
Dmitry also proved himself as a true universal soldier. According to his own calculations, he commented on about twenty different sports for the entire time he worked at Eurosport. Among them: beach women's volleyball, beach soccer, surfing and even bull riding (sports cups).
However, Dmitry Shnyakin did not stop there. The man was energetic in life, he had enough strength to work on the Finam FM radio station in the familiar position of a sports correspondent.

Dmitry Shnyakin, a commentator already experienced, came to the country's main sports channel, not somehow, but through a competition. He was admitted there by a future colleague in the shop - Georgy Cherdantsev. After an invitation to the television center, Shnyakin began commenting on the reviews of the Champions League matches. Then, having successfully passed this stage, he ended up in NTV Plus studio. In the final of the competition, where it was necessary to immediately comment on any match, Dmitry Shnyakin took second place, and Elvin Kerimov, who is now also a colleague of Dmitry, won.
It is interesting that in the final, Shnyakin was a little lucky: he got the match of “Milan” and “Roma” - two large Italian teams. And Dmitry never hid his sympathies for calchio. At the 1998 World Cup, while still a teenager, he was a fan of the Italian national team, he was also very worried about Andriy Shevchenko, who became famous just when he played for Milan.
Dmitry Shnyakin joined the company of the country's main commentators very quickly and painlessly. He was not embarrassed by traditional journalistic jokes and even small mockery, without which things in such an environment can never do.

Since 2016, the staff of NTV Plus journalists has become part of the large holding “Match”. Today Dmitry Shnyakin works as a football commentator, expert and correspondent on this channel.

Dmitry is a highly active person who opposes all types of procrastination. In the past, he was seriously engaged in wrestling, currently playing for an amateur football club. As he himself admits, all his life is one solid sport. It can be a simple house cleaning, and sex, and work. The competitive aspect for Shnyakin is one of the most important in life.
Dmitry does not hide his love for the Italian championship and Serie A in particular. Once he even visited Rome at the legendary Olimpico stadium, where the local Roma played with the Florentine Fiorentina. An interesting episode occurred during this trip: Dmitry got to the stadium by taxi, but the driver got caught in Laziale (a loyal fan of another Roman club - Lazio). Therefore, Shnyakin and his commentator friend Dmitry Zhichkin were almost late for the game.
