Professional way

In the debut match at the pro ring on July 30, 2011, a boxer from Ukraine defeated Alexander Okhrey. After that, Dmitry Kudryashov held four more spectacular fights, and then, in the fall of 2012, he entered the ring to fight for the title of champion of the WBC CIS and Slavic countries. The fight was successful for the Russian, and he won this title.

"Sledgehammer"

In 2013, the Rostov citizen defends his title. In a duel with Akrong, the UBO world championship title was won. In autumn 2013, Dmitry Kudryashov won the title of best in the world according to GBU. And the rival in that fight was much more serious than before - the representative of Barbados, Sean Cox, who had once been in the status of an official contender for the WBA belt. However, this boxer did not offer decent resistance to Dmitry. Already in the second three-minute period, the foreigner was knocked out.

In 2014, Dmitry Kudryashov’s battles are more frequent. During this time, he defeated the Czech Lubos Sud, the Croatian Ivica Bachurin, as well as the legendary Carlos Gomez. Moreover, the Cuban was knocked out for a record for our hero nineteen seconds.

Bitterness of defeat

Unfortunately for Russian fans, Dmitry Kudryashov is a boxer who already knew all the “charms” of an early defeat.

Kudryashov’s “offender” was Nigerian citizen Olanrevaju Durodola, who managed to become a stumbling block for Sledgehammer. The fight between this pair of opponents was held in November 2015. The fight itself was very intense as a variety of technical and tactical actions, and entertainment. However, in the end, the fight turned out to be quite fleeting and very sensational, because Kudryashov was knocked out already in the second round.

In fairness, it is worth noting that even at the beginning of the battle Dmitry perfectly applied the left side to the head of the Nigerian, forcing the opponent to slow down significantly. Sadly, this locally successful attack by the Russian did not stop Olanrevaja, and he still went forward and carried out his offensive actions. And his pressure did the trick. In the middle of the second round, Durodol achieved what he wanted by knocking out a Russian after a long multi-hit attack. This victory allowed the Nigerian to become the new champion.
