Description
KTZ is an ambitious project designed to unite core enterprises in the field of transport engineering. Its history began with the acquisition in 1996 of the Factory of Industrial Tractors in Cheboksary, which later became the headquarters of the concern.
Today, the association includes 16 plants in eight constituent entities of the Russian Federation and 2 foreign enterprises, 3 trade and service companies, tractor research institutes and specialized design bureaus. The large-scale assortment is represented by technical samples of over 80 items. A team of many thousands is working on their creation. Concern Tractor Plants is an obligatory participant in domestic and international forums, presentations and exhibitions in which it organizes unforgettable motor shows.
Construction and industry
The release of industrial equipment for KTZ is a priority. The company has a strong design school with twenty years of experience in developing heavy tractors, bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators, pipe layers, frontal loaders, all-terrain vehicles.
All equipment produced by the structural units of the Tractor Plants concern has passed the necessary certification. It is easy to operate, maintainable due to the established service and inexpensive spare parts, it has proven its reliability. Agriculture
As part of the national state project for the revival of agriculture, the Tractor Plants concern is developing grain and forage harvesting equipment. Harvesters produced under the Agromash brand are respected by farmers. The company strives to produce a full range of agricultural machinery - from tillage to harvesting, storing and warehousing. The first decade of KTZ has been actively developing, acquiring more and more factories. However, due to the global crisis of 2008-09, a number of government development programs were cut, within which enterprises and agricultural organizations could purchase new equipment. Thus, the market “collapsed”.
Companies involved in real production had to take loans, which today impede development. For this reason, they were forced to close the combine plant in Krasnoyarsk, transferring capacity to Cheboksary. The management of Tractor Plants is counting on improving the financing of agricultural programs by the state and on contracts by the military department.
