There are many word masters in the Krasnodar Territory who write beautiful poems and glorify their homeland. Kuban poets Viktor Podkopaev, Valentina Saakova, Kronid Oboyshchikov, Sergey Khokhlov, Vitaly Bakaldin, Ivan Varavva - the pride of regional literature. Each of them has their favorite places. But in the work of one or another author, one single feeling that unites them is clearly audible - universal love.
Kuban poets about nature
The heart of the poet Viktor Podkopaev Krasnodar Territory conquered once in his youth and forever. For him, the sonorous word “Kuban” is like the name of a beloved. The poet dedicated her work to her. About her, about Kuban, his lyrical thoughts and dreams. Having opened the book of his poems, you immediately feel the thick aroma of the breadfields, the salinity of the sea waves, you can clearly imagine how nature wakes up.
Kuban cute land
You are the pride of all Russia
Wonderful beauty
Under the blue of heaven.
Maybe somewhere there
The places are even more beautiful
But to me no more
Native Kuban places ...
About Homeland
Poems of Kuban poets as if saturated with warm sun. The whole Rostov citizen Kronid Oboyshchikov has a whole life connected with Kuban: here he graduated from high school, an aviation school, and from here he left to defend his father's land. The southern pearl of Russia, charming in its beauty, also served as the soil that nourished its bright artistic word.
Daytime birds are silent
Crushing against dusty rays
Sounds fade and flow
Like wax from a melted candle.
Cloud murals darken
The star enamel becomes clear.
How in the world my mother doesn’t compare with anyone,
So there is nothing to compare the homeland with.
Whatever verses of Kuban poets - short or sweeping - may sound, they feel, regardless of the number of phrases, deep respect for the homeland. For many years, the root poet Viktor Malakhov has been pleasing his readers with penetrating poetry. When you read his poems about the native land, as if you are walking along the morning dew, admiring the smooth surface of the river, you cannot look at the clouds floating on the dawn dome of the sky.
Historical annals
Many Kuban poets came from afar and fell in love with the local land. In Krasnolesye and high meadow grasses of the Smolensk region, the lazy flowing river Bit Malaya was lost. Nearby, the future famous Kuban poet Sergey Khokhlov was born. His father moved the family to the fertile Krasnodar Territory.
In the Kuban, Sergey Khokhlov gained experience, human, civic maturity. And flew, overtaking each other, miraculous sounds. About the worker-father, about mother, about war, about nature, native fields, rivers, steppes. And, of course, about love. His cycle of romantic poems “Scythians” possesses a special aura, where the author managed to convey the trowels conflict between the self-confident ruler of the Persians Darius and the freedom-loving brave people - Scythians.
Lyrics
Kuban poets are masters of the lyrical syllable; Vitaly Bakaldin’s poems are especially beautiful. He devoted most of his work to his love of the land. His work is imbued with a sense of community with his native land, warmth towards people, all living things: herbs, trees, water, birds ... The poet in his poems infuses the theme of the Kuban into the general theme of the Motherland.
I grew up in the Kuban,
Our southern edges:
I am relatives, more understandable
The steppes are immense ...
Poems of Kuban poets are as if born for a song. Ivan Varavva - singer of the land of Krasnodar. It seems that our generous nature itself has put the lyre in the hands of the poet. I want to return to his poems repeatedly. They charge with their energy, make you think, look around and see how unique our land is.
The works of Barabbas inspire composers, in his words the best compositions about the Kuban are written. You cannot confuse the poetic voice of Ivan Barabbas with any other. He rightfully belongs to the leading poets of the region. His work, bright and life-affirming, glorifies this fertile land, the people who inhabit it, disinterested, kind and courageous, in love with their harvesting work.
Kuban poets to children
The Kuban writer and storyteller Tatyana Ivanovna Kulik gave everyone a vivid impression of her childhood - fairy tales told by her mother, the hereditary Cossack Efrosinia Tkachenko. For the children, she wrote many wonderful books:
- “Cossack Tales” are amazing fabulous events that took place with our distant ancestors during the settlement of fertile Kuban lands, decorated with authentic folk Cossack songs.
- "Tales of the Caucasus" - pages of fairy tales of the Caucasus: Adyghe, Chechen, Abkhazian, Abazin, Lak, Karachay, Circassian, Ingush, Kabardian, Balkar, Ossetian, Nogai, Avar, Lezgin, Don and Kuban regions. They absorbed the customs and wisdom of the mountain peoples.
- “Land of Tales” - the life of the characters of the multinational country of fairy tales is filled with amusing miracles, funny, sometimes dangerous adventures, the wisdom of old age and the mischief of childhood, true friendship and the happiness of meeting.
Anatoly Movshovich is a famous Kuban poet, author of several books for children, a member of the Union of Russian Writers. The writer is well versed in child psychologists and knows how to survey the world through the eyes of a child. His poems are very direct, filled with humor and musicality. The poet writes in the language of children: understandable, easy and fun. Perhaps that is why his poems are successful and loved by the whole child.
About war
Kuban poets about the war wrote a lot of truthful, sincere lines, sometimes saturated with a note of bitterness about the fallen comrades. Aksakal, one of the most respected poets of military subjects is Bakaldin Vitaliy Borisovich. A native of Krasnodar, he survived six months of the German occupation as a teenager and later often returned to the topic of concern to him.
His poems about terrible events are piercing and soulful. About the immortal exploits of senior comrades, he is ready to talk endlessly. In the poem "Krasnodar Fiction", the author tells about yesterday's graduates of schools just called up for the expulsion of the Nazis. They fought to death with adult fighters, holding defense for three days. Many of them remained forever lying under Krasnodar "classy and fun". Other significant works:
- "September 42nd in Krasnodar."
- "October 42nd in Krasnodar."
- "Our day".
- "February 12, 1943."
About family and eternal values
Kuban poets do not stop talking about family, eternal, enduring values. Unquestionable authority is possessed by the poet Zinoviev Nikolai Aleksandrovich, a member of the Writers' Union, a laureate of literary prizes. Social work
In the Kuban there are two main literary organizations:
- Union of Writers of Russia.
- The Union of Writers of the Kuban.
The Writers' Union of Russia in the Kuban is represented by 45 word masters. At different times, Bakaldin V. B., Varavva I. F., Zinoviev N. A., Makarova S. N. (current chairman of the branch), Oboyshchikov K. A., Khokhlov S. N. and others consisted of it.
The Union of Russian Writers (30 members) is positioned as an association of people of the "new formation", advocates of democratic change. The Kuban poets of the “middle” generation are more represented in it: Altovskaya O. N., Grechko Yu. S., Demidova (Kashchenko) E. A., Dombrovsky V. A., Egorov S. G., Zangiev V. A., Kvitko S.V., Zhilin (Sheiferrman) V.M., Poleshchuk V.V. and other talented authors.
Pride of the land
An ungrateful job is to argue which writer is the best. Each master of the word has his own vision of the world, respectively, his own unique syllable, which may coincide with the tastes of readers and critics or be special, understandable units. Only officially in the literary Unions are more than 70 writers of the Krasnodar Territory, not counting the "amateur", but from this no less talented authors.
But even among many, individuals stand out whose authority is indisputable, whose work has been awarded state prizes and awards. The “patriarchs" of Kuban poetry with an undeniable foundation are Bakaldin Vitaly Borisovich, Barabbas Ivan Fedorovich, Golub Tatyana Dmitrievna, Zinoviev Nikolai Alexandrovich, Makarov Svetlana Nikolaevna, Malakhov Viktor Ivanovich, Oboyshchikov Kronid Aleksandrovich, Obraztsov Konstantin Nikolaevich Viktorovanov, Sodakop, Valodianov, Podkop Khokhlov Sergey Nikandrovich and other writers who glorified the glorious Kuban land.
