An important part of the modern world is learning foreign languages. There are schools and courses, individual lessons are given with native speakers, learning is done remotely and through webinars. The leading role is given, of course, to the English language. And often there is a misunderstanding of how to learn English.
Whatever the version of the learning process is, without internal motivation and awareness of the goal, proper results will not be achieved. It’s also worth explaining for yourself which is more important: oral or writing skills. But the author’s programs make a different emphasis: somewhere, the leading role is given to grammar, somewhere the emphasis is on the spoken version of the language.
From the first moments, it is necessary to abandon the meaningless memorization of words that have no context. Yes, you can increase your vocabulary in this way, but learning to use words is not. One word can have a number of meanings, which depend on the situation. Therefore, one should learn sentences, not just words. Common phrases will help maintain an elementary dialogue, proverbs or sayings will reveal new words and their meaning.
Learning a language with the help of learning phrases, you can understand the grammar. There will be no need to regularly study the easy-to-hard rules. Visually memorized the structure of the proposal.
The correct approach for studying the written version of this language is reading books in the original. They should be selected based on existing knowledge and skills. Books also increase vocabulary and allow you to "probe" the structure of the language.
To learn to speak English, books will not help. What matters here is not the theoretical or print basis, but the practical and the oral. Repetition of words, learned phrases is a necessary moment. This can be done exclusively orally, but you can listen to your notes of spoken words or sentences, mentally repeating them.
Correct learning of the English language involves a combination of practice and theory, written and speech skills. And do not be afraid to speak, to be afraid of mistakes, then gradually English will become almost native.
