The athlete was born in the spring of 1964, May 20. From childhood, Olga showed quite good abilities and a desire for physical development.
To obtain an education and profession, the athlete chose the Moscow Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. But it is worth noting that Bogoslovskaya Olga Mikhailovna did not work for a single day in her specialty. The reason for this was the fact that Olga devoted herself entirely to sports, and the results of her work, of course, were not long in coming.
Already in 1992, Olga Bogoslovskaya won silver during the Summer Olympics in the 4x100 m relay. The following year, at the same stage, Bogoslovskaya (see photos from the competitions below) received the title of sports champion in the scale of world running competitions.

The great interest of Olga's fans is caused by the marriage of the athlete with Dmitry Guberniev. Theological does not like to discuss his personal life. From her youth, the athlete was passionate about athletics, but absolutely did not plan to connect her future life with sports. Becoming a coach was also not part of her plans. Olga Bogoslovskaya set personal records at three distances - 60 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters. The first personal record was set in 1992 at 100 meters. She managed to run this distance in 11.07 seconds (this is the standard for running, corresponding to the master of sports). At the competitions in Villeneuve d'Aschet (commune in France) in 1993, Olga Bogoslovskaya set a second personal record, but already at a distance of 200 meters. The result of Olga’s race is 23.35 seconds (which also corresponds to the level of a master of sports). And in the spring of 1993 in Toronto (a city in Canada) at the competitions in the gym, the runner managed to set her third personal record by running a distance of 60 meters in 7.31 seconds.
Two years (1992 and 1993) in the life of an athlete were the most successful. Theological Olga achieved personal success, and also became the Olympic champion and gold medalist in the 4 to 100 relay race (more on this in the section on sports achievements). Bogoslovskaya’s sports career began when she was noticed by coach Albina Lyuzina, who went around schools to find young talents in the field of sports. It was she who invited Olga to visit the athletics section. Before that, however, the young Bogoslovskaya Olga Mikhailovna had already managed to try herself in figure skating and gymnastics, but for some reason she was afraid of the world of big sport. Once, as Olga herself tells, she even left the stadium because of fear.
In 1992, visiting Barcelona as part of the Olympics, the team in which Olga participated took second place in the relay of 4 100 meters, losing quite a bit to the representatives of America. But silver for Olga was already a good achievement. Moreover, this award is the first serious in her life.
Well, the second and most important victory in the athlete’s life was achieved in the same competition, only a year later, when the team, which included Bogoslovskaya, took gold, and Olga gained the title of world champion in athletics.
Career
After the sports career was over, Olga Bogoslovskaya (the biography of the athlete also mentions this fact), unexpectedly, even for herself, she discovered the world of television. It should be noted that in this field, the former athlete categorically rejects all proposals for commenting on any other sports, except for her favorite and painfully athletics. The whole secret is that the most impeccable Olga is afraid to seem unprofessional, so she does not dare to comment on something that she knows little about.
Anyone who decides to ask her a question about how she manages to spend twelve hours commenting on the competition, and at the same time never get lost and make a single mistake, thereby evoking the confidence of the viewer and his continued interest, Theological herself says that she is trying to ignore the thought that a huge audience is listening to her, and imagine that she gives comments only for herself. In her view, she is the same as many Russians who sit in front of the TV at home and say aloud all their feelings about what is happening on the screen.

An interesting fact in the theological career of the Theological is its fear of big sports. According to Bogoslovskaya herself, she once arrived at the Znamensky brothers stadium in Sokolniki, looked at the scale of the arena, spat on everything, telling herself that she did not need athletics, and went home. And only the efforts and persuasion of Lyuzina, who really wanted to get such an athlete in her team, contributed to her return.
Another interesting and funny reason for the beginning of the theological training in the field of athletics was the story with a tracksuit. After Lyusina persuaded Olga to come to the stadium a second time, Bogoslovskaya saw on the training girls chic woolen tracksuits of dark blue color, on which the inscription “Spartak” flaunted. And after the Theological learned that these costumes are received by those athletes who pass the standard for a candidate for master of sports, she began training. And soon became the owner of the same thing.
Passion and hobbies
Olga Bogoslovskaya is an athlete and a woman of iron will, who sets goals and does not give up anything to achieve them. Therefore, there are no special hobbies in her life, because she devotes herself to work. It is difficult to get involved in something when you have to spend 12 hours in the commentary.
The only weakness and most important thing in this woman’s life is her children, with whom she spends absolutely all her free time. Olga Bogoslovskaya has two sons. The eldest of them is Yegor, he is 20 years old, he is quite an adult young man and has already managed to get his own family. The youngest son is Michael, and he is only 10 years old. He is today - the main hobby of the mother. Despite the fact that Olga herself has a stellar sporting past, she prefers that her children stay away from world sporting life, arguing that in this period, a sports career is fraught with corruption and scandals.
