Nature is often the main character in the poems of many poets. With love and admiration they describe their homelands, beautiful landscapes, some natural phenomena. Particularly touching is the description of something that happened for the first time this year, for example, the first summer rain with a thunderstorm, the first spring flower, the first rainbow in the sky. A special feeling of joy and delight is caused by the first snow. Poems dedicated to winter are not uncommon in Russian poetry.
