What should a person know who has decided to embark on such a heroic path?

In order to fight fire, save people, risk their lives for the sake of strangers, strangers, one cannot but have specific character traits, physical excellent data and a peculiar mentality. This is necessary not only for successful work, but also in order to save your own life in an extreme situation. Profession fireman obliges:
- Constantly in great shape. To support it, fire departments conduct constant training, and firemen themselves systematically pass certain standards.This is not a whim. The uniform of a fire-fighter who goes on a call weighs more than 30 kg. But he needs to storm the stairs, carry people out, work with the hose.
- To be able to make instant decisions, have the ability to analyze, a sharp mind and determination. Any doubt, any confusion in an extreme situation can lead to the death of a firefighter, his colleagues or people affected by the fire.
- Possess very high resistance to stress. Unfortunately, this profession implies that people can die in front of a fireman. This should not prevent him from acting clearly and accurately, making quick, but thoughtful decisions.
- Have a quick reaction, be bold, courageous, ready to engage in battle with the fire element at any time.
- Be able to provide first aid.
- Have psychological training, be able to talk with people in stressful situations, have a good command of your own emotions. At some point, the profession of a fireman is equated with the work of a psychologist: victims may behave inappropriately.

If a firefighter is a heroic job, then a fire inspector is a bureaucratic position, but no less important. Everyone knows that it’s easier to prevent trouble than to deal with its consequences later.
