The term "martini" for many is associated with a cone-shaped glass and impaled with olive on a special skewer. The fact is that olive is an integral attribute of this cocktail. However, one should know that martini is vermouth, in the manufacture of which no fruits are added to the bottles.

Martini Dry
This drink was invented in 1922. To make it, you need dry gin and white dry vermouth. Two parts of gin and one part of vermouth are mixed in a shaker. Today, the ingredients remained the same, but the changes affected their proportions. For example, a dry gin drink may contain no more than 15 parts. Olive used to be used as an exquisite decoration. Dirty martini

Unlike the classic version, this cocktail, in addition to dry vermouth (10 ml) and gin (70 ml), is additionally seasoned with olive brine or juice (two tablespoons). Due to the fact that this cocktail with olives is cloudy, it is called "Dirty Martini".
"New Year"
You can make a mix of 70 ml of vodka, one tablespoon of dry martini and two tablespoons of olive brine. You will also need a lemon and the olives themselves. The drink is seasoned with crushed ice. The technology for making a martini cocktail with vodka and olive is quite simple. Pour brine, vodka and martini into the shaker, and then put ice. The edges of the martins are rubbed with lemon. Then fill the glass with a cocktail, and put the olive fruit on top.
Martini with lemon juice
For this cocktail with olives you need vodka (40 ml), ice, a few olives, dry martini (10 ml) and lemon juice (5 ml). Prepare a drink as follows. The cocktail recipe provides the following ingredients:
- Dry gin. Enough 120 ml.
- Tabasco sauce (40 ml).
- Vermouth "Bianco" (80 ml).
- Pickled Olive Brine (60 ml).
