Tomas Rositsky - the story of Little Mozart

One of the future leaders of the Czech national team and the star of the London Arsenal Tomas Rosicki was born in October 1980 in Prague. Little Mozart, later dubbed by his sharp-tongued fans and journalists, became one of a whole galaxy of bright Czech players from the beginning of the 21st century.

Children's career

When the boy was 6 years old, his father took him to the football school of the ฤŒKD club. At this school, Tomasz Rosicki learned the basics of football art for a very short time: after the first game, he and his brother Jiri wished to see Sparta from Prague among her students.

Since then, Tomasz Rosickiโ€™s ascent through all age groups of the Prague Sparta began, and in April 1999 the midfielder made his debut in the Czech Cup match against the outsider Boda. The debut was a success, and the young midfielder began to regularly appear on the field, go on a substitution, and in the next season he even won a place in the first team.

The beginning of an adult career

September 2000 was marked not only by the first goal scored in the Czech Championship, but also by the debut in the Champions League, in which Tomas also managed to open an account for goals scored.

The success of the player did not go unnoticed by the coaching staff of the Czech national team, which Rosicki Tomas really liked. The midfielder in the summer of 2000 took part in two matches of his team at the European Championships, but neither he nor the Czech national team gained much success, limiting himself to participation only in the group tournament.

After Euro 2000, the player moved to Borussia from Dortmund, becoming one of the leaders of the team, which is by no means on the last roles in the Bundesliga. In 2001, Tomasz Rosicki became the champion of Germany, as well as the finalist of the UEFA Cup.

The next season, largely due to financial problems, Borussia began to sink deeper into the bottom of the standings and, in order to improve its position, was forced to sell Little Mozart to London's Arsenal.

The heyday of Arsenal

As part of the โ€œGunnersโ€ midfielder did not have long to confirm their high qualifications. However, in January 2008, Tomasz Rosicki suffered a severe knee injury, because of which he had to miss almost two seasons.

In the first official game of Arsenal, the player showed that the club was not in vain hoping for his return, giving an assist and scoring a goal into the goal of Manchester City.

In March 2012, the Gunners' leadership signed another five-year contract with the midfielder, the terms of which remained secret even for all-knowing English journalists.
