As the New Year holidays draw near, we are more and more immersed in pleasant chores: how to decorate the house, whom to invite and, of course, what dishes to cook. If you are tired of your usual menu, then try to diversify it somehow. And for this it’s enough to just add seafood and fish snacks to the New Year’s menu. Such dishes will surely be appreciated by guests, and spicy sauces and seasonings will make the taste of all dishes rich and so bright.
Dishes on the New Year's table. Snacks
No table can do without snacks. There are those that can be served both hot and cold. For example, shrimp appetizers. Shrimp goes well with herbs, vegetables and sauces. We suggest that you include shrimp in a spicy sauce with mustard and garlic on the New Year's menu. This appetizer can go as an independent dish or with a side dish (for example, with spaghetti). To prepare a snack you will need: two tablespoons of mustard, one kilogram of shrimp, two cloves of garlic, juice of half a lemon, two hundred grams of butter, a bunch of parsley, a little salt. First, preheat the oven to a temperature of 220 degrees. While it is warming up, you need to clear the shrimp from the shell, while leaving the tail. Next, prepare the sauce: over low heat, melt the butter, then add the garlic (crushed), mustard, finely chopped parsley, lemon juice and salt. Mix well and remove from heat. We put the shrimps in a baking dish, then pour in the prepared sauce and bake in the oven for about fifteen minutes.
But what about salads?
What a festive table for the New Year without salads. Pineapple can be called a frequent ingredient in delicious salads, and there is nothing surprising in this, because such an ingredient can give a delicate and piquant taste and special juiciness. So you make a salad that combines chicken and pineapple, it will appeal to everyone. The salad is called Pineapple. In order to cook it, you will need: two hundred grams of chicken, one onion, one jar of canned pineapple, one hundred grams of hard cheese, two hundred grams of mayonnaise, one hundred grams of raisins, 150 grams of walnuts, salt to taste, pepper, leek for decor. The cooking process, despite the fact that the salad has a large number of ingredients, is notable for its simplicity. First you need to boil until tender chicken fillet. Then cut the fillet into small cubes and put a thin layer on a dish (preferably flat and in the shape of an oval). Pepper, salt and grease with mayonnaise. Finely chop the onion and pass it a little on the sunflower oil. After that, put it on the fillet. Put a layer of pineapple on the onion and again the mayonnaise. Next is a layer of raisins. It is advisable to pre-soak the raisins in warm water, so that it becomes softer. On it we grate cheese (preferably fine) cheese, again mayonnaise, and finally chopped walnuts (they will resemble the pineapple peel). The final touch - we decorate our salad with leaves of leek, so that it looks like pineapple. Ready salad sent for an hour in the refrigerator. You must admit that such a dish will decorate any menu for the New Year.
Where is hotter? How will not be?
I almost forgot about the most important dish. Well, what is this menu for the New Year without hot. A great option is chicken stuffed with mushrooms. All you need is: chicken carcass, two cloves of garlic, one teaspoon of oregano and dried thyme, one onion, one carrot, salt, pepper, 450 grams of mushrooms, vegetable oil.
Rinse the chicken carcass, dry it and remove the meat from the breast, wings and legs. Only bones and preferably intact skin should be left. We cut the meat in small pieces, and rub the carcass with garlic, salt and pepper and leave for half an hour in a cool place. While you can cook the filling: finely chop the onions and carrots and fry in oil, then add the mushrooms (finely chopped) and simmer everything on low heat for about twenty minutes to make the carrots soft. Then you need to add meat and fry for another five to ten minutes. When the filling is ready, you should stuff the chicken with it, sprinkle with herbs, put it on the baking sheet with the back down, grease it with oil, and then use the toothpicks to close the hole and put in the oven preheated for 25 minutes for 25 minutes. When the chicken is slightly browned, you need to reduce the fire to 180 and bake it for another hour. Serve on the table is better than hot.
