Emotionally strong-willed sphere of personality

The emotional-volitional sphere of personality includes two closely interrelated concepts, one of which is human emotions and feelings, and the other is will. These forms of mental reflection are common to all living things. And they are expressed not only in internal experiences, but also in the form of bodily manifestations, such as changes in facial expressions, gestures, postures, excessive sweating, or a violation of the respiratory rate and heart rate.

The emotional-volitional sphere of personality has no analogues. Each person reacts in his own way to the same mental process. An identical state can cause an emotional upsurge in one individual and persistent apathy in another. Some people will be spurred by a sense of fear and danger, while others will make it numb from helplessness. Deep depression and awareness of their own insignificance leads to disruption of the normal course of mental processes in the body. Very often, people with similar disorders see suicide as the only way out of this situation.

However, in most cases, negative emotional states are harmful only in excess. Experiments of scientists have shown that some impact of negative stimuli has a positive effect on life expectancy. The mental activity of any person needs to receive negative stress. After all, without it you will not be able to fully enjoy positive emotions. It is just as impossible to drink constantly without even feeling thirsty.

The emotional-volitional sphere of the personality includes a bright kaleidoscope of indescribable sensations and emotions, an example of which is passion. This deep emotional experience is strongly expressed in individuals with an unstable psyche. It can last quite a long time and be associated with many factors. Passion can arise both to a living object, and to any state or memory. One of the constant emotions of every person is mood. Without this “chronic” state, not a single moment of life passes. It is clearly reflected in the behavior and gestures of each individual.

The most powerful in its structure is the emotional reaction of the body called affect. It instantly captures the human psyche and summarizes all the experiences into one single complex. Very often, such control over the body leads to the most unexpected consequences. Affection is terrible for its uncontrollable actions and uncontrolled surge of emotions.

However, the emotional-volitional sphere of the personality includes not only human feelings and emotions. The concept of will, as a process that contributes to the conscious control of one’s psyche, is also an integral part of every personality. It is the will that manifests itself in overcoming various obstacles and obstacles that have arisen on the path of a person. Only a strong-willed person will be able to achieve his goal and bring all beginnings to a logical end.

The volitional sphere of personality is not a separate property of the human psyche . That is why it should be considered only together with other aspects of his mental life. Indeed, in reality, a strong-willed person suppresses some emotions for the sake of realizing others. Based on the foregoing, it can be noted that the concept of "will" is the ability of the body to act in accordance with the task, not paying attention to any desires and aspirations.

Like any kind of human activity, the volitional sphere requires powerful psychological support. Such an engine of will is feelings. Indeed, a person indifferent even to himself cannot become the owner of a strong will. He surrenders without a fight at the mercy of a blind chance. Such people very often are silent slaves of their passions, unable to generate either a slightest sense of satisfaction from their duty, or to find the optimal path in life. A similar attitude to self is formed from the school bench. That is why every growing person should think in advance about obtaining sufficient knowledge and filling the circle of future interests.
