Almost the oldest medicine, whose history began, perhaps, millennia ago - fir oil. Reviews about the use of the drug do not change during all the same centuries of use and still remain extremely positive. Oil based on fir is used as a therapeutic drug, while it is practically indispensable in cosmetology. If you know how to use it, then you can quickly get rid of so many diseases and preserve your beauty and youth for a long time.
Fir oil as a medicine
The most used qualities of the oil for therapeutic purposes are antiviral and immunostimulating. If you put an aromalamp with it in the room, the probability of catching an infection even in the midst of an influenza epidemic decreases to a negligible amount. However, other properties possessed by fir oil are also actively exploited. The treatment of injuries and postoperative scars is significantly accelerated in his presence. Oil is very valuable in the fight against inflammation of various organs, therefore it is used in the treatment of genitourinary diseases (cystitis, urethritis and prostatitis) and in the treatment of colds. The fir oil is of great help when the effects of frostbite are eliminated. Few people know that people associated with the duty of constantly looking at the monitor can maintain their eyesight and even partially restore it with the help of this miracle tool.
Help with angina
Many mothers know very well how to help a baby who has a sore throat. Fir oil with tonsillitis, the acute form of which is known as tonsillitis, can cure it even without the use of medications (of course, not counting antipyretic drugs: inflammation of the tonsils is usually accompanied by a rise in temperature to dangerous values). It is enough to wind a cotton swab on a long stick (from a Japanese restaurant or just a pencil), moisten it with fir oil and smear the tonsils. If the child does not tolerate such a procedure - many babies have the urge to vomit - you can sprinkle the throat from the syringe without a needle. In parallel, five times a day, you must offer the child to gargle with coniferous water. That is, heated boiled water in which fir oil is dissolved. Reviews about the use of such procedures are consistently laudable: children recover faster than with medication.
Skin Disease Treatment
Those who suffer from eczema or psoriasis will also benefit from fir oil. Application (reviews of which are very positive) to solve skin problems is not difficult, although it requires regularity. In addition to the oil itself, you need a base for compresses. Ideal as it would be badger fat. However, of course, not everyone will be able to get it, so you have to do with a more affordable component - interior fat. It is mixed with fir oil, which is taken three times less than the fat base. The composition is placed on a sore spot, isolated with parchment or film and wrapped. You need to hold the compress for a quarter of an hour, and repeat the procedure at least twice, and preferably three times a day. If you are not too lazy, maintain a two-week course and do not spare fir oil, treatment for this period will remove all unpleasant manifestations of the disease.
Cosmetic use
In order to maintain beauty and eliminate external defects, fir oil is used very differently and very effectively. Feedback on the application is most favorable in such areas:
- elimination of corns and calluses;
- resorption of scars and skin irregularities;
- hair care, and in this direction, oil is used for a variety of purposes;
- the fight against the fungus of the feet and nails and the prevention of its appearance;
- facial skin care, elimination of acne and pustular rash, smoothing the cover and increasing its elasticity.
The last point can be considered more broadly, as fir oil is also used to massage the entire body, restoring skin tone and improving its elasticity.
Cosmetology: we fight with oily skin
Fir face oil with large pores and mixed or uniformly oily skin is especially important. Its use helps to reduce the excretion of subcutaneous fat and eliminate the ugly shine caused by it. Particularly effective are masks in which fir oil is supplemented with caraway seeds produced from black plant varieties. Mixtures of fir with wheat germ oil or grape seed oil give equally good results. For such masks, any vegetable oil is taken as the basis, only not refined and not deodorized. A few drops of fir dripped into it; if you combine it with others, then both components are added in equal doses. The face must not only be washed, but also steamed for a deeper penetration. A mask is applied to the skin - and for half an hour you relax to unobtrusive music. Remove it with a lotion that is most suitable for your skin type. The procedure is done in the evening: firstly, so as not to rush anywhere, and secondly, to avoid makeup - at least three hours after the mask, cosmetics are prohibited.

Cosmetology: getting rid of youthful acne
At puberty , young people feel rash on their faces. To defeat them, and quickly enough, all the same fir oil will help. Reviews about the use of such a tool by adolescents are very encouraging. There is no need to dilute the oil. The face (naturally washed and dry) is treated with fir oil with a cotton swab. It is applied pointwise, only in places of pustules. It is not necessary in an effort to get rid of acne as quickly as possible to spread oil on the whole skin: it dries it very actively and quickly. Not wanting to wait a bit and rushing things, you can get another problem - peeling of the face, which then will have to cope for quite some time.
Cosmetology: rejuvenation
Older people, whose skin begins to wither, will be interested in fir oil for the face from wrinkles. Its impact in this direction is due to several qualities:
- good tonic ability;
- preventing the formation of edema;
- prevention of dehydration of the surface layers of the skin;
- stimulation of blood circulation in the subcutaneous capillaries.
The easiest way to take advantage of all the benefits of fir oil is to add a few drops of it to your preferred cream. However, if you want to more actively resist natural wilting, you will have to make a special oil mask several times a week. Apricot kernel oil (or the one already mentioned from wheat germ) is ideal as a base for it. Fir oil is introduced into this base, again drip, so that an excessive dose does not overdry the skin even more. Also there should be added a vitamin concentrate bought at the pharmacy, which includes vitamins A, B and E. In the evening, the face washed with warm water is quickly covered with the created mask, which should last from half an hour to forty minutes. After it is removed, and a nourishing cream is applied, backed up by the same fir oil.
We fight with sweating
Masks, lotions and other means to maintain beauty is not the only cosmetology area in which fir oil is used. Recipes that contribute to the victory over hyperhidrosis are simply very popular. Everyone with palms sweating is very embarrassed by their lack, and therefore avoid unnecessary contact, including handshakes. And people sweating excessively with excitement try to wear dark clothes on which sweat spots are invisible. However, before resorting to the completely unsafe "heavy artillery" like botulinum toxin, use the method that has been tested by many generations of similar sufferers. Stir ten drops of fir essential oil in a stack of vodka and wipe the sweating places with the resulting composition. A pleasant coniferous aroma will interrupt the smell of alcohol, so you will not make the impression of a person from a hangover. And after a couple of weeks of regular wiping, your sweating will decrease to the average.
Cosmetology: strengthen hair
Very useful fir oil for hair. Its use can be directed against very different problems. It is able to feed them and make them stronger, relieve dandruff of the head, remove greasy shine and prevent fungal skin diseases under the hair. If you use fir oil in order to strengthen the roots, the following recipes can be suggested:
- When washing your hair, add a couple drops of oil to the shampoo. Not more than twice a week, or achieve the opposite result.
- Aromatic combing: a drop or two drips onto the brush, and the hair is combed in all directions so that oil gets on each hair. Then the head is wrapped in plastic wrap for a couple of hours and only after that it is washed with the shampoo you selected. More often than once a week, the procedure is not necessary.
Cosmetology: getting rid of greasy shine
A lady with oily hair is forced to wash her hair more often than others. However, in this way even more active work of the sebaceous glands is provoked . It turns out that the unfortunate moves in a circle. Fir oil will help to break out of it - reviews about its use for these purposes periodically become enthusiastic. Choose which mask inspires confidence.
- Beat the egg with four tablespoons of rum. It, in principle, can be replaced with soft vodka. Two drops of fir oil are introduced into the mixture, hair roots are smeared with massage movements. The head is wrapped in film, and over it in a towel. After half an hour - in the shower.
- Three tablespoons of dry mustard are diluted with warm water to gruel and combined with two drops of fir oil. The mask is applied to the roots and kept in a wrapped state for a quarter of an hour, after which it is washed off.
- A slice of rye bread is soaked to an amorphous mass, settles for a day, then a little drips into the pulp (two drops), and it is applied for half an hour.
After the first application, the hair will become much less oily.
Contraindications
Consider buying fir oil: the application, reviews of which are so encouraging, is limited to some points. And you should not neglect them. It is contraindicated for kidneys in the acute stage, with an untreated stomach ulcer (if it is supposed to be taken inside) and smell allergies. Epileptics and those who have cramps should be careful when resorting to fir oil. The same applies to cores.
A categorical ban applies to pregnant women (fir oil can affect an unborn baby). And in no case can it be combined with the use of alcohol, even weak.
