The large anti-submarine ship Admiral Panteleev is the last of the 12 vessels of Project 1155. NATO's classification for this category is Udaloy class frigate. The BOD was laid down at the Baltic Shipyard, it was assigned tail number 548. The manufacturer is located in Kaliningrad, the first launch of the military ship was made in May 1987. In 1991, the flag of the Russian Federation was hoisted, and on May 1 of the following year, the ship was included in the Pacific Fleet. The name "Admiral Panteleev" was awarded in honor of the famous Soviet military commander. The ship participated in search operations to locate vessels in distress (Maizur, Japan).
