Ideographic (they are also called semantic) synonyms
Compare: a big house, a huge house, a huge house.
It is clear what is said about the big house, but with every word the shade changes. In the first word it is large, in the second it is already larger than the first, and in the third it is larger than the first and second. As you can see, their spelling is different.

Stylistic synonyms
