Under his leadership, the club was able to maintain a place among the strongest teams of the championship and get to the semifinals of the Cup of Russia. Who would have thought that Dmitry Cheryshev, whose biography began in Nizhny Novgorod, will return home as a local club coach. Then for 10 months Cheryshev worked as a coach for the youth of the Leningrad Zenit and 7 months as the head coach of the Irtysh Kazakhstan team. Since July 2015, Dmitry Cheryshev is an assistant to the head coach of the Spanish club Sevilla.
