Which windows is better? We resolve the age-old dispute

The gradual development of technology has led to the fact that now it is impossible to imagine a world without personal computers. They are used for work, leisure, games and much more. The importance of their existence today is simply undeniable. But how many computers are in the world, there is so much debate about their operation. It's about operating systems. Almost everyone has heard the word windows in their lives or has come across them. The windows operating system is the most popular in the world, according to experts, more than 90% of all personal computers in the world use this system from Microsoft. But the varieties of windows themselves have come out a lot over the years, and there is ongoing debate about which windows are better. We will not compare all windows systems, from the oldest to the newest. We will choose the last three versions, referred to as Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Although all of the above systems are similar to each other, they differ in many ways. First of all, they differ in performance. This parameter is usually decisive for all PC users, as well as in debates about which windows are better. Many tests of these systems have been conducted.

The first test was checking the computer shutdown time. Windows 7 took only four and a half seconds, while XP and Vista took 6.5 and 7 seconds respectively. Here we see a noticeable speed advantage in Windows 7.

The second test was checking the loading time before the computer desktop appeared on the screen. If Windows 7 only took 12 seconds, then XP and Vista took 14.1 and 14.5 seconds. respectively. Again the leader is Windows 7.

The third test was checking the time until the working system was fully loaded. What is the best windows this parameter is not hard to guess. Again, the seventh version won the first place with an excellent result of 14.5 seconds. The lag behind other OSs was very significant. XP booted in 23.7 seconds, and Vista in 18.5 seconds. These simple tests showed that the seventh version is noticeably superior to its predecessors, while XP and Vista are fighting almost equal.

Tests on low-power computers, such as netbooks, showed that Windows 7 again loaded faster than its predecessors: before loading the desktop and before fully loading the OS. True, the work is completed faster on Windows XP. Which windows is better for a netbook? Of course, this is again Windows 7. That is why it has been installed on almost all netbooks and laptops sold lately.

Tests were conducted in PC Mark Suite, reproducing the daily use of your system with various applications. The results showed a noticeable superiority of Windows 7 over Vista in performance. After all these tests, it becomes clear which windows are better.

You can argue a lot about which windows are better, because each one has its own fans. But all tests prove that this is Windows 7. Yes, maybe she has her own shortcomings, for example, working with some old programs, but she has a lot of advantages. XP can run faster with old games on older computers, but who wants to buy an old computer now? In this world of developing technologies, with the constant release of new models of video cards, processors, motherboards and everything else, a clear advantage over the seventh version. In addition, it works great with Java applications, and they just recently conquered the Internet. Windows 7 also manages the cache better, so when you open multiple windows at the same time, you will not have problems with the computer freezing and disruption.

Perhaps you will not agree with the above statements, and the test results will not convince you at all - well, this is why our world is interested in the fact that there always will be a place for an alternative judgment in it. And yet, no matter how you feel about new products, you must, at least for fairness, admit that Windows 7 is a step into the future from Microsoft.
