Irregular verbs differ from regular ones in the peculiarities of formation. When using the correct verb in the past tense or as a participle, only the -ed ending is added. For example, smile - smiled.
The situation with the irregular verb is different. Under the same conditions, its transformation is more complicated, in a special way. Instead of ending you need to know the second and third forms of the irregular verb. For example, fall - felt.

Explanation
Thanks to exercises, irregular English verbs will be remembered pretty quickly. The tasks described above simply show the general direction in which you need to train. Examples of sentences from tasks can be used in everyday conversation, and therefore it is necessary to be prepared for this and not to get lost when irregular verbs appear. The main thing here is training, in memory the words and forms will be deposited automatically.
When training, do not be shy to use various forms of irregular verbs. If you make a mistake, nothing terrible will happen - you can always look at the table, but the right option in your head will definitely be postponed. As already mentioned, 50 verbs for the initial level are quite enough, and with proper discipline it will not be difficult to learn them.
But do not adhere to the principle of "temporary - the most permanent." Once you have left the initial level of knowledge, learn new irregular verbs.
