The English say false start, which means a wrong start or start. Basically, this word is used in sports, where it is especially important that all athletes begin to simultaneously perform some action.
By the way, some "experts" believe that it is right to say "false start". They believe that this word was formed as a simplified one, from the merger of two: false and start.

False starts are fouls that happen in sports and because of which they stop the race. According to the modern rules of athletics, if an athlete starts moving earlier than 100 milliseconds before a shot, then this action will be a violation. It is such a foul that will qualify as a false start.

When registering any applications for recognition of the results of races, established records, the presence of such a complex is one of the prerequisites.
To develop such systems began in the 20th century. Already in 1979, Omega realized that false starts are a serious problem that can affect the real results of competitions. The human factor is an absolute enemy in this matter, and it needs to be automated as much as possible.

The practice of automating auto-start of false starts helps athletes to better concentrate their attention after they hear the command: “Go to the start!” Athletics is a very difficult sport, and such trifles as fractions of a second often play a decisive role. Except in races, this concept is often found in other sports. Very often false starts are fixed in swimming, when the athlete begins immersion in water before the team.
