Yarakta field: photo, road, description

On the territory of the Irkutsk region is the extraction of a variety of minerals. In the platform part of the region, for example, there are deposits of coal, refractory clays, potash and rock salts. In the folded areas are the Lensky gold-bearing region and the Mamsk-Chuy mica province. This region of Russia also has rich reserves of cement limestone, facing stone, manganese, and native sulfur. And, of course, there are oil fields in the Irkutsk region . They are located mainly in the platform part. One of the largest objects of this type is the Yarakta field, discovered in 1971.

Geological data

This oil field is located in the upper reaches of the Lower Tunguska River, in the region of its left tributaries Gulmoka and Yarakty. The reserves of black gold in this area began to form in the Vendian and Cambrian periods. Oil is extracted at the Yarakta field, the photos of which are presented in the article, from sandstones, their total thickness is 40 km. In tectonic terms, this object is located within the southwestern immersion of the Nepa Arch.

Yarakta deposit

The oil reserves themselves are significant. In total, 102.5 million tons of black gold are deposited here. The density of oil in this place is 0.830 g / cm 3 . The Yarakta field belongs to the group of oil and gas condensate and is part of the Baikal province. Engaged in the development of black gold at this facility, the Irkutsk Oil Company.

How to get to the Yarakta field?

Getting to this object on your own is quite difficult. This field is located in the taiga, very far from any settlements. Previously, access to this facility in summer was possible only by air. Recently, a dirt road has been laid from the city of Ust-Kut to the field . However, unfortunately, it cannot be called too convenient for movement. In any case, it is not worth driving a passenger car along this road to the Yarakta field. Overcoming this almost two hundred-kilometer path through the taiga, sometimes forcing rivers, is mainly possible only for KAMAZ trucks and other similar heavy-duty vehicles.

Shift village of Yarakta

This oil facility is located, as mentioned above, at a great distance from the settlements. The distance from Ust-Kut to the Yarakta field is 140 km in a straight line. Therefore, for the workers of this facility, like most other similar ones, a shift camp was built. This settlement is relatively small, but there is enough space for all employees of the facility.

Of course, specialists who decided to work in this field should not expect much comfort. However, the Irkutsk Oil Company nevertheless took care of the basic conveniences for its employees. In 2014, the construction of two modern hostels was started on the territory of the shift village of Yarakt. As a result, the total capacity of housing on the property increased to 550 places.

Also, a new dining room was built in the village. Its total capacity was 100 people. In dormitories, in addition to directly rooms for living, there are also such infrastructure facilities as showers, bathrooms, assembly and sports halls. The territory of both buildings is landscaped. A bath complex was built near the dormitories. Here, in addition to the steam room, shower and sink, there is also a small pool. It operates in the village and its own church.

Development and licensing

The Yarakta field is the main one for the Irkutsk oil company . This facility accounts for 80% of all hydrocarbon feedstocks produced by the enterprise. The license holder for the development of black gold in this place is OJSC Ust-Kutneftegaz, a subsidiary of INK. The license was issued to this company in December 1996. The company has the right to produce oil here until 2033.

Shrub drilling

Currently, the main focus on the Yarakta field of the INC is on the development of precisely this advanced method of oil production. Unlike the European part of Russia and Western Siberia, cluster drilling technology for Eastern Siberia is practically new. Meanwhile, it is precisely this technique that makes it possible to produce oil at the lowest financial cost. In addition, when using this technology, the damage caused by enterprises producing black gold to the environment is reduced.

By 2017, 19 new cluster sites were built at the Yarakta oil and gas condensate field. Also, measures to intensify the extraction of black gold touched a significant part of the fund of the KP that already existed here.

In total, 209 production wells are operating at the field in 2017. At the same time, exploratory drilling at the facility continues.

Pipelines

Previously, the INK company transported produced oil through a line connecting the Yarakta and Markov fields with a railway terminal in the city of Ust-Kut. The construction of this pipeline was completed in 2007. Even earlier oil was concentrated at the pumping station of the Markovskoye field. She was delivered to Ust-Kut by road.

In 2011, the branch connecting both objects with the city railway junction was mothballed. Currently, oil is pumped from the Yarakta field through a new pipeline connecting it with ESPO in the vicinity of station No. 7. The total length of this line is 61 km. Its final point is PSP, the first stage of which was also completed in 2011. The capacity of this delivery / acceptance point at the time of commissioning amounted to 1.5 million tons per year.

Development prospects

The intensive development of the infrastructure of the Yarakt village is, of course, due primarily to an increase in the production capacities of the field itself. At the moment, at this important facility for the economy of the Irkutsk region and the whole country as a whole, the INK company is implementing several large-scale projects. For example, a modern installation is being constructed at the field for the preparation of UPSNG sulphurous oil. Also at the facility, work is underway to modernize the UPM and the booster pump station. In addition, a large-scale gas project of the company is being implemented.

INC: production activities

In total, the INC is exploring and developing 25 deposits in the territory of both the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Sakha. In addition to the Yarakta field, its licensed areas in the Irkutsk region are:

  • Severo-Mogdinsky;
  • Verkhnenepsky;
  • Bolshetirsky;
  • Yalyksky;
  • Kyi;
  • Ayan
  • Northern;
  • Middle Nepalese;
  • Verkhnetirsky.

Employee Reviews

Unfortunately, the opinion of the company INC on its specialists has been mixed. Its advantages include primarily the fact that she pays her employees an official salary, and she does this almost always on time. At the same time, the employees of the enterprise receive quite worthy money for their work.

Negative reviews about the developer of the Yaraktinsky field are mainly associated only with living conditions. In built modern complexes on the territory of a shift camp, companies often only accommodate engineering and technical workers. At the same time, simple workers are often provided with places in old buildings without any infrastructure, in other words, in ordinary Soviet barracks.

The employees of the INC have complaints about the distribution of wages. All company employees employed in the fields receive the same money. At the same time, the volume of work has to be carried out at some facilities, while at others people practically do nothing.

road to the Yarakta field

Another disadvantage of the company, according to many of its employees, is nepotism. To get a good position, even with a suitable specialty, excellent recommendations and extensive experience, without connections here, judging by the reviews, is almost impossible.
