This article will describe two types of relationships: Huxley (ENFP in MBTI) and Balzac (INTP in MBTI). Socionics and MBTI use almost the same personality model and the same types, therefore the article is relevant for both typologies. Functions and types in these typologies differ from each other only in names. Because Balzac and Huxley are somewhat similar people.
All personality types with the prefix NP use Extrovert Intuition (Chi, Ne), as well as Introvert Intuition (BI, Si) as part of their filter of reality. Therefore, the personality types ENTP (Don Quixote), ENFP (Huxley), INTP (Balzac) and INFP (Yesenin) are likely to have some degree of similarity and compatibility in the relationship. Such compatibility can extend both to their communication, and to a way of life. The relationship between Huxley and Balzac is considered to be very harmonious.
ENTP, ENFP, INTP, INFP: Relationships, Similarities, and Differences
To the reader, that all carriers of intuition at the position of the basic function will be called for brevity in this article intuition or NP (NP, according to MBTI). As intuitive types, all NPs gravitate toward more abstract forms of communication. Namely, they like to discuss ideas, and not just specific, everyday events. As I said elsewhere, Ne types use their Intuition more widely and variably than Ni types. NPs like to jump from one idea to another, creating wide, even random, connections in a pool of scattered ideas. Especially when interacting with other types of NP, this can occur at breakneck speed, often leaving non-NP types feeling lost, confused or exhausted. For NPs, however, interacting with other NPs can be fun, generating a strong sense of intellectual kinship and understanding. According to the theory of socionics, Balzac and Huxley are not the worst relationships.
NPs are also similar in their desire to perceive new ideas from outside through their Ne. Most NPs like to read, which is one way to communicate with them (in this case, the writer). Therefore, when two NPs are connected in a relationship, they usually like to discuss new ideas that they have learned from print or other media. This can be a great way to communicate with each other on the forum of ideas.
The union of two intuitions
Since ENTP and INTP have the same psychological functions, a sense of intellectual kinship can be very strong. The same applies to INFP-ENFP relationships. At some point, however, a feeling of boredom can sneak into relationships if the thinking of the other begins to become too predictable as a result of typological redundancy. This can be especially significant for INTP and INFP, which require a lot of motivation to leave their inner sanctuary in order to communicate with others. In other words, there may be such a thing as too much typological similarity in a relationship.
ENTP, ENFP, INTP, INFP: lifestyle compatibility
In addition to the similarities in thinking and communication, NPs often exhibit similar life preferences. As we said elsewhere, C is conservative in relation to money and the material world. As a rule, this is enhanced by introverts, which makes INTP and INFP even more financially conservative than ENTP or ENFP. In general, however, all NPs can find satisfaction with the relatively poor living conditions. Most, for example, may well use former furniture. Like bricollers, they often like to use their Ne to find creative ways to use existing Si products or materials. Consequently, NP pairs can often enjoy financial compatibility with relatively little effort.
More than other types, intuitions show proximity to the natural world. Many people like to hike, relax on hikes or engage in other activities that allow them to "communicate with nature." Such common interests can be another excellent forum for rapprochement with NPs. Types of NJ, by contrast, are generally much less excited about roughing than NP.
In light of the foregoing, there is good reason to believe that two types of NP, especially those that are in the process of developing their personality type, can have strong compatibility in relationships.
What is Huxley (ENFP)?
ENFP is caring, creative, fast and impulsive, inspired by the possibilities that life can bring. They love to develop new ways of doing business and bring a completely unique and fresh perspective on people and situations. People-oriented, fresh and spontaneous, they will perceive things with energy and enthusiasm, but may not complete or go into details, since their attention is focused on "what next?" The relationship of Huxley and Balzac is to a certain extent the union of two opposites.
What is Balzac (INTP)?
INTP is deep, private, difficult to understand, and extremely independent. They focus on the things that interest them the most, postponing tasks until the last minute, as the routine tires them. INTP loves logic, and an indication that INTP is an obsession with logical correctness. INTP will deal with emotions, good in reading situations, but less good at reading people. Balzac and Huxley compatibility is very high.
We all bring something of our own to the team, and we all agree that difference and balance are good things. However, if someone is different from us, we may not understand them so well, therefore in this section we will allow you to compare the differences at work, how they can manifest themselves and how best to manage them. Balzac and Huxley's love is a passionate adventure!
Warmth, Peace and Friendliness
ENFP show a warm, sincere interest in others, they can read people well and will be a catalyst for new initiatives and creative ways to solve problems. They will bring a radical look at the team. According to the theory and practice of socionics, the relationship between Balzac and Huxley is a good complement to logic and ethics, which will be discussed below.
Despite being calm, INTP will come to the forefront in analyzing problems and evaluating ideas, using their superior judgment and serious, unemotional nature to ensure that the team makes informed decisions.
ENFP is so insightful and people-oriented that they will be caring leaders who are genuinely interested in those who care about them. They may not be so good as to give bad news or to create systems and processes.
Mutual expectations
INTP needs others to be active and not come to them with questions. They like arguments and actions that need to be well thought out, and they will succeed.
ENFPs do not like bureaucracy or rules and regulations, and they will long and eloquently uphold their causes. They are fast and agile, work in short portions of energy and need flexibility. Balzac and Huxley complement each other in this regard.
INTP does not fit into a typical structure. They value independence, thoughts and actions, and they need their own space: to think, to be free from other people in order to work with short bursts of energy.
ENFPs need diversity, incentive and being surrounded by people. Individual tasks, goals, repetition, formal structures or hierarchies are not suitable, as they work best in a flexible workplace where relationships are valued.
INTP does not like too much detail, preferring a broad-stroke approach. The simple, obvious bothers them, and everything that they consider trivial or unimportant will be discarded.
ENFP is creative, fast and impulsive. They are excellent at developing new ways of doing business and provide a completely unique and fresh look at people, projects and situations.
Criticism and love of life
If this is in their interest, INTP's ability to think critically and with their insightful judgments means that they can analyze and consider even the most complex problems and analyze the essence of what needs to be done.
Some people strive for harmony, others see the conflict as just active discussions, some people are emotional, some are more factual. So there is nothing right or wrong with this, and we are trying to help two different people understand how the other can handle the conflict and what it will mean for them to work together.
ENFP dislikes conflicts and will be at the forefront of peace and understanding. Warm, affectionate and embarrassing spontaneous people will love and trust ENFP.
Rational argument, logic, and intellectual theory are the paths to the “heart” of INTP, which will have no problem making a difficult decision if it is the “right” decision based on logic and evidence.
Care and comfort
ENFPs are by nature very caring, and they don’t like to see what they consider to be unfair or unfair. However, their style is to combine all this in harmony, and not engage in battle.
INTP is relatively simple until something violates the principle. Then they can become frank, inflexible and unreasonable, moving from restrained to real enjoyment of a hot drama. Huxley and Balzac's love relationship is all about care, warmth and comfort.
Since ENFP is comfortable with emotions, they make good use of emotional vocabulary and are tactile, and people tend to open up to them, and this allows the conflict to be resolved in a friendly way.
Dumb and, by the way, INTP rarely allows emotions to interfere and uses logic and data to substantiate their point of view. Those who are more emotional may find them a bit cold and harsh at such times.
For ENFP, this will depend on whether the conflict was resolved and whether everyone was happy or if the frustrated person survived it. It is precisely because they do not like the conflict that they are very good at spreading it.
Logic and Ethics Compatibility
Since they are deeper and more solitary, Balzaki will be happy to discuss everything in the world, using all their intellectual and logical abilities, before returning to their own world, not to offend, not to experience any feelings, it was a chat.
We all have different motivators, values and world views, partly driven by our personalities. The section below describes how each person can interact with others and how others can see them.
The optimistic and encouraging, sociable and cheerful character of ENFP contradicts a more sensitive soul, which can take criticism to heart and which needs to be loved. They are sociable, cheerful and sincerely love people.
Union of mind and heart
INTP is a very independent, thoughtful and detached type, but at times it may seem completely frank because of its direct communication and the saving of words that are spoken only when there is something to say.
ENFPs are emotional people who tend to be at the center of drama. Their sincere caring nature means that they will ensure that their mood remains bright, that everyone feels valuable and that ideas are realized. Balzac's sex with Huxley will be passionate and intense, but slightly awkward due to the weak sensory in both types.
INTP thinks emotions are difficult because they are logical, analytic and objective at heart, and they don’t have time for anything that they consider “fantastic”. They will not be motivated by those who say “please,” or by emotional pleas.
ENFP will carry its heart on its sleeve and will have no problems opening. However, their values are so important, and they are internal, so that inadvertent damage to ENFP is possible. The friendship of Balzac and Huxley is a very common phenomenon.
It will be difficult for the INTP to share its feelings, although they will be frank and frank about their thoughts. In moments of purposeful concentration, INTP will seem alienated and detached.
Critic and Innovator
ENFP cannot help but see the opportunity. Future-oriented, they will look far beyond the boundaries of obvious, often visible things that others can’t do, driven by new, complex, interesting and caring people.
At first, it is difficult to understand that INTP is afraid of close emotional involvement, because emotions tend to go a little beyond their own living space, and if someone comes too close too close, they close.
Extraversion and Introversion
Extroverts and introverts may have some problems: one wants the other to discover more, and the other wants the other to give time to be alone. However, they can also be good to balance each other out, allowing the extrovert to feel more comfortable with introspection, and the introvert has someone to encourage him to communicate and try new things more often.
Type INTP prefers introversion extraversion. INTP tends to be in their head and will think things through. They have an internal logical structure of the world, and they prefer to draw conclusions on their own.
ENFP prefers extraversion of introversion. ENFP receives a boost of energy from people and opportunities. ENFP sees the world as “what can be” and wants to explore and change the world in one form or another.
White and black intuition
Two intuitions will get along well. They both see the world abstractly and whenever possible, which can lead to a fascinating conversation. However, they may have trouble fulfilling their daily duties and responsibilities.
Type INTP prefers intuition to perception (using white intuition). INTP seeks to see the world abstractly in potential opportunities and in what can be, unlike specific facts, places, and things.
The ENFP type also prefers intuition to perception (using extrovert, i.e. black intuition). ENFP seeks to abstractly see the world in potentialities and in what can be, unlike specific facts, places, and things.
White ethics and black logic
Balzac and Huxley can do a lot for the interesting dynamics of their relationship. A thinker may help to sort out logical problems, but may seem rude. The sentient can help the thinker better understand his emotions, but may seem too emotional and frivolous for the thinker. However, both of these types can provide a very healthy balance. Balzac and Huxley are a good couple.
INTP prefers mental preference to sensory preference (using introverted thinking). INTP prefers to see the world using logic, systems and ethical justice. INTP wants things to make logical sense, and wants to figure it out. Therefore, the feelings of Balzac / Huxley will manifest themselves in different ways: one thinks more with his head, and the other more likely with his heart.
ENFP prefers to feel thinking (using introverted feeling). ENFP has a rich inner world of morality, feelings and ideals, which it seeks to better understand. ENFP seeks to use this in-house leadership as a force in shaping the future of the world.
Confrontation by intuition
Two perceivers will probably want to go with the flow. They can leave things open until the last moment and just take things as they arrive. This can lead to a drag out and lack of initiative to actually hang out. However, these relationships tend to be under low pressure and tend to have lower levels of conflict.
