Among its advantages, one can single out a high speed of information transfer (in some cases, it can reach 150 Mbps) and ease of setup. He has only one minus - this is the need to be near the transmitter (up to 10 meters). But the second method is based on the use of 2G and 3G networks. He does not tie us to any particular place, but his speed is much lower.
Wifi
The most convenient and fastest way to access the Internet from your tablet is through Wi-Fi. At the same time, the data transfer rate can reach a record 150 Mbps. The procedure for setting up such a connection is as follows:
- Configure a wireless router. We set the name of our network and password to protect it from unauthorized access. This stage is performed on a laptop or desktop PC using a direct connection to it.
- Turn on the tablet and go to the address: “Applications / Settings / Networks / Wi-Fi” and activate this adapter (opposite it should be “On”).
- We return to the "Applications".
- Next, you need to find among the applications a special utility “Wi-Fi”. We launch it. In the window that opens, at the bottom left, click the "Search" button. After it ends, a list of available connections appears. We select the network we need (its name was invented at the first stage). In the request that appears, enter the password and close the window.
- At the same time, the icon of this wireless technology in blue should appear at the top of the screen. This indicates that the connection was successful

Via 3 G modem
Unlike a Wi-Fi adapter, a 3G modem is not found in every such device. To do this, you need to study its characteristics in detail. If it is integrated, then there is no problem. Otherwise, you need to separately buy a modem compatible with the tablet, complete with an OTG cable for connection. And the order of how to go online from the tablet, in this case, is as follows:
- Install the SIM card.
- Next, you need to download and install the “Mode switcher” program.
- When using an external modem, we connect it using an OTG cable.
- Turn on the communication device.
- Launch “Mode switcher” and select a mode called “Only modem”.
