One can be found near the city of Aivarsted in the location of Btalft Ruins. This city was built by the Dwemer as part of a huge complex, but because of the war it was not finished, fell into decay and collapsed.

In the forge itself, it is necessary to shut off the steam supply in order to take advantage of the design itself. To the right and left of the entrance there are gates, actions on which are able to solve this problem.
In the form of a "security system" of their device, the Dwemer left here a number of mechanisms, such as the Dwemer sphere and the Dwemer spider. Also, Master Blacksmith - a huge Dwemer centurion having fire resistance - will come out of the lava lake. It is recommended to arm yourself with something that causes cold damage, and also use potions that increase resistance to fire, because the centurion attacks with streams of flame.

You can use the Dwemer machine only once - the forge of the ethereum allows you to forge one of three unique items:
- The ethereal crown is an item that allows you to use two activated additional enhancements from guardian stones at the same time. - Aetheric Magic Staff - Summons a Dwemer Spider and Dwemer Orb for 60 seconds when used. Useful only at the initial levels, as higher-level opponents will cope with these Dwemer mechanisms in one hit.
- The ethereal shield is a useful item for warriors who prefer to quickly run past a crowd of opponents to a target. The shield turns the enemy into a ghost for 15 seconds. In this state, the enemy cannot attack and take damage.

In the process of completing the quest, you can get Marshmallow - a Dwemer bow that Katria owned. You can find in Arkntamze on a tree hanging over the abyss. Care should be taken: onions may fall into a turbulent river flow and be lost.
The lava lake, from which the Master Smith comes out, can be overcome with the help of potions of resistance to fire and spells that replenish health. On the other side you can find a chest with valuable items, as well as two corridors, each of which leads to treasures.
