And cocktails are best suited for such a pastime: intoxication is delayed, taste pleasure is provided, glasses last for a long time. Many have their favorite drinks; others prefer to experiment. Among the most popular formulations - “Bull's eye”, a cocktail that does not require any intricate ingredients, no special skills, or special equipment.
Cocktail making: the basics of bartender art
If you decide to join the slender ranks of supporters of the graceful use of alcohol, you should go over a little theory. Otherwise, in many cases, you can simply spoil the original ingredients, getting from them something unappetizing and tasteful.
There are only four tricks to connect in a single whole different liquids. True, some of them have variations, but they are mastered in the course of mastering the bartender skills.

- Blend - a technique in which a blender is used (a regular, kitchen one is also suitable). It helps to make a drink from viscous components - ice cream or the same fruit. For example, "Pina Colada."
At home, the preparation of cocktails can be done without a shaker or a mixing glass. Craftsmen use any turned up dish instead and get the same result.

That's what the Bull's Eye was originally called. The cocktail, by the way, was not invented for feasts. They were treated the next morning after those hangovers, and very successfully. 80 grams of tomato juice is poured into a glass, on top (on a spoon or on the wall) - the same amount of strong beef broth. Then the yolk is separated from the egg and carefully, so as not to drown, is lowered into the liquid. Last but not least, half a stack of vodka is poured. Depending on the strength of the hangover, its amount can vary from 25 to 50 grams. The cocktail is salted and peppered, flavored with the Wychester and Tabasco sauces (if they are available) and drunk, in one gulp. Even the most severe hangover goes away almost immediately.
"Bull's eye" in Russian
According to our people, an alcoholic drink should be drunk during the holiday, and not after it. The Bull's Eye cocktail was adapted to this point of view. The recipe has not changed much. Modifications were mainly correlation. Tomato juice and vodka are taken in equal proportions - 150 grams each. Again, first pour tomato juice, pre-salted. The yolk is carefully introduced into it, after which vodka is no less accurately added. Sauces - optional; they are not in the original recipe. The classic of use is interesting: when drinking, the yolk adheres to the tongue, and in the end it chokes on the palate. Connoisseurs promise a pleasant and interesting effect.
Wine option
There are no strong drinks in this version of the cocktail. Probably, it is designed for ladies. The yolk is lowered into the glass, after which the glass is filled to the top with malaga. Please note that this wine comes in different shades, from golden to almost black. Something average, a deep red hue, goes into the cocktail.
Ginger Bull's Eye
Why this drink got a similar name is covered with a gloom of mystery - the egg does not enter into it, unlike the listed options. Maybe after drinking, the beer’s gaze begins to resemble a bull’s eye - the cocktail is manly strong and severe. For him, 30 ml of brandy, a double volume of cider are combined in a glass with pouring ice, after which it is added almost to the edge with ginger ale, the cocktail is mixed and drunk in large sips (but not in one gulp and without rushing).
Drink vodka elegantly
Not everyone may like the idea of swallowing a raw egg, as well as not always ginger ale with brandy. If you like vodka with tomato juice, you can recall a few successful and popular cocktails with their participation:
- Out of all competition remains "Bloody Mary." In a classic version, two parts of vodka are shaken in a mixing glass, five - of natural tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce (2 drops), Tabasco sauce (4 drops), salt, pepper and celery. Strain, garnish with a sprig of celery and enjoy.
- Add one tequila share to the previous set - and you will get “Murderous Mary”.
