The future heavyweight was born in the regional center - Lugansk - October 15, 1984. Vyacheslav Glazkov, in parallel with training, graduated from the State University of Internal Affairs, located in his hometown. Initially, the guy spent boxing classes at the Zarya sports club under the guidance of Vladimir Ilyich Baranov . After that, Vyacheslav held six more victorious fights for himself, after which he had already had an eight-minute fight with a well-known and very experienced boxer from Russia Denis Bakhtov.
In March 2012, Glazkov boxed with giant Evgeny Orlov, who had only lost ahead of schedule before and had always created serious problems for his opponents. The Ukrainian managed to quickly exhaust the Russian, as a result of which Orlov was forced to refuse to continue the fight after the fifth three-minute period.
In May of that year, Vyacheslav knocked out former African champion Gbenga Oloukun.

On January 16, 2016, the most important fight in the boxer's career took place. The rival of the Ukrainian was Charles Martin. This fight preceded the battle between Wilder and Stud.
The first two rounds were fairly even, without any advantage. But already in the third round, Glazkov carried out an unsuccessful attack and sprained his knee. As a result, the fighter was on canvas, but the referee did not count the knockdown. Vyacheslav continued the fight, but it was evident that he was too slow. This time the judge counted the knockdown, and when it became clear that the Ukrainian could not continue the fight, a technical knockout was recorded.
