Alexander Sergeevich Spivak was born in 1975, on January 6, in the city of Mariupol (Ukraine). He began to get involved in football since he was 10 years old. At this age, he entered the football school of his hometown, Novator, and studied there for 4 years. After that, in 1989, Spivak moved to the School of Olympic Reserve, located in Donetsk.
The beginning of the professional career of a football player
Over his entire career, Alexander Spivak managed to play for many clubs in Ukraine, including Shakhtar (Donetsk), Metallurg (Zaporozhye), and Chernomorets (Odessa). The first professional football team was the club "Silur", where Spivak spent one season. Then the player decides to try his hand abroad, namely in Poland. Alexander Spivak goes to the Steel team, which at that time played in the second league of the country. However, there he did not stay long, having played one season. During this time, he did not show outstanding results: in 16 games Spivak did not score a single goal.
In 1994, Alexander returned to his homeland and signed a contract with the Odessa club. Here the athlete played for half a season, then moved to another Ukrainian club - Chernomorets. In this team, the football player’s things went better, he gained stability. However, the next season (1995/1996) Spivak began already in another team, which he still considers one of his most beloved.
The first successes of Alexander in football
This team is Shakhtar, where he played for two years and was forced to leave because he lost stability and spent most of his time in reserve.
The management of Shakhtar decided to send Spivak on loan to give him the opportunity to play at a high level. At that time, many clubs were interested in the personality of the football player, but Alexander opted for the Star in Kirovograd. As the football player himself noted, he chose this club because of coach Alexander Ishchenko, whom he treated with great respect.
Spivak showed himself well in Kirovograd, and a year later he was noticed by Miron Markevich. The head coach of Metallurg was very interested in the football player and lured him to him. Metallurg bought the player’s contract from Shakhtar, but a year later Spivak moved to another team again.

In 2000, Alexander Spivak left Ukrainian football forever and moved to St. Petersburg. Zenit paid about 300 thousand dollars for the transfer of a football player, and did not regret it. Initially, Alexander was faced with the task of replacing the departed Roman Maksimyuk. I must say, Spivak coped with this 100 percent.
In the first two games for Zenit, Alexander Spivak, being a midfielder, was able to distinguish himself three times. Moreover, these matches were “blue and white” away, and Spivak immediately became the new star of the team. In addition to Zenith, many Russian clubs were interested in acquiring a football player, including CSKA and Wings of the Soviets. However, Spivak opted for St. Petersburg. In the northern capital of Russia, Alexander spent his best football years. He played at Zenit for 7 years, in 2007 he was put up for transfer and announced the end of his professional career.
