Grass celandine
Celandine (otherwise a warthog) belongs to the poppy family. This is a perennial herb with a large central stem. In places of breakdown, thick juice (milk) is released, which, when oxidized in air, takes on an orange color.
Celandine (and its use) were known in the early centuries. So, for example, in his writings, the representative of oriental medicine Avicenna wrote that from this herb you can prepare infusions and decoctions for the treatment of diseases of the liver, stomach, toothaches, and the juice of a medicinal product can return vision.
The grass is poisonous due to the presence in its composition of such substances as homochelidonin, protopin and other alkaloids, the amount of which is over 20. In addition, the celandine contains saponins, flavonoids, carotene and organic acids (malic, chelidonic, citric and others) as well as tarry substances and vitamins.
The use of a medicinal plant
Celandine (and its use) are well known in folk medicine. This medicinal plant can be used for a number of ailments.
- Diseases of the liver and pancreas. In this case, water infusion (5%) is used, which is made from grass raw materials prepared in advance (the collection is carried out during the flowering period, and the plant needs to be dried at a temperature of about 60 Β° C).
- Skin infections, dermatitis and other diseases. It is recommended to use daily baths with a decoction of grass, prepared at the rate of 10 g of collection per 100 ml of boiling water. At the same time, the temperature of the infusion during the procedures should be about 37 Β° C. A similar recipe can be used when dandruff occurs, rubbing a decoction into the scalp.
- Warts, papillomas, polyps and similar diseases. For their excretion, a fresh extract of grass juice is used. It must be diluted in a small amount of glycerin and applied to the affected area of ββthe skin.
- Other cases are known where celandine juice is used: oncology of the skin and internal organs. At the same time, it is recommended to use an infusion prepared as follows: a container (0.5 l) is filled with collection and poured with vodka, aged for about 3 weeks. However, it is better to establish a dosage, having consulted with the doctor. You can also use the following recipe - in a thermos place a tablespoon of plant collection and fill the container with boiling water. The infusion should be kept for about 1.5 hours, then take 2 large spoons half an hour before a meal (3 times a day).
- Indigestion Treatment is carried out using juice, 1 spoon before each meal, no more than 3 times a day.
- Acne and other skin rashes will also remove celandine well. The use of acne water tincture of grass is noted as the most effective remedy. This product is prepared from dried collection (1 tbsp. L.) And water (300 ml). The mixture is boiled for about 5 minutes and left for 6 hours. After this, the solution needs to be filtered, and lotions done daily before bedtime.
- Diseases of the nasopharynx, maxillary sinuses, frontal lobes and inflammation of the oral cavity. It is better to apply a drop of 2 drops of fresh juice with a repeat after a while, after tingling and other consequences disappear.
