Russian swimmer Sergei Fesikov is a native of Leningrad. The future champion was born on January 21, 1989 in a family of athletes. His dad (volleyball coach Vasily Fesikov) and his mother after the birth of his son immediately decided that as soon as the boy was older, they would give him to the sport. True, they did not immediately decide which one. Among the options considered were football, volleyball, swimming. As a result, when Seryozha was 6 years old, he was brought to the pool. At one of the stages of the World Cup in Berlin, Sergei Fesikov, whose swimming at a distance of 100 m by the complex was brilliant, again broke the previous world record.
2014 was the “Harvest" in terms of medals. He took the “Gold” at the Cup of Russia in the city of Ruze.
The swimmer showed excellent results at the stages of the World Cup in "short" water. At the fifth stage in Chinese Beijing, he took first place in the complex at a distance of 100 meters.
The sixth stage in Japanese Tokyo brought him two silver medals. Gold was the seventh stage of the Cup in Singapore. The swimmer received the highest awards in the 100-meter swim by the crawl, in the complex and in the combined relay.
