By any means of transport you can get to Victory Park - this is the largest park area of the city. It is named after the memorial memorial created for the 30th anniversary of the Victory. The park has free pebble beaches, a water park and a diving center, many attractions, a cinema, and a stadium for sports.
Seaside Boulevard is also a park area. The boulevard starts from the Count's wharf and stretches along the promenade. What can be done in the park after photographs of the monument to the scuttled ships and the Sevastopol raid are taken? Of course, go to the aquarium or cafe, ride on boats on bays, study the assortment of souvenirs, in the evening you can listen to the performance of orchestras or go to the theater.
So that children also remember the trip to Sevastopol, it is worth bringing them to one of the children's parks - Komsomolsky or Lukomorye.
Komsomolsky Park has a lot of fun activities for the smallest - trampolines and carousels, various attractions and slot machines, horse riding and typewriting. There is a park near Lazarev Square.
The children's town “Lukomorye” will also please adults, because on its territory, besides the attractions, there is a zoo and a museum of slot machines of the Soviet years, where you can play games familiar from childhood, as well as a delicious marmalade museum.
Where to visit: Patriot Park
Among the numerous and well-known sights of the hero city, a novelty has recently appeared - Patriot Park. Sevastopol is a city with well-deserved military glory, therefore such a park turned out to be very appropriate here. They began to create a new site in 2017.
In the future, it is planned to create 5 autonomous clusters that make up the Patriot Park:
- based on the armored turret battery No. 30, a defense line consisting of trenches, dugouts and firing points will be recreated, this will allow for spectacular battles of reconstructors;
- the ravelins Mikhailovsky and Konstantinovsky, who protect the city from the sea, will become open-air museums;
- mass events, an exhibition of equipment are planned in the central zone;
- the Patriot Park will include the current Balaklava Museum-Submarine Base ;
- in the Alsu tract there will be a track for climbers, tourists and a health camp.
Already in the fall of 2017, about 10 thousand children gathered for the patriotic game "Zarnitsa", which was first held in the Patriot Park.
