Roses: growing and care. What a beginner needs to know

Roses are very beautiful and delicate flowers, not for nothing that most women love them so much. Currently, there are more than 300 species, among which there are both tall varieties, and undersized, curly. Every year, an avid florist tries to replenish his collection so that the best roses bloom every season. Growing and caring for these flowers is not so complicated as it might seem at first glance. Many are afraid to plant these flowers only for the reason that they simply do not know how to handle them. Well, it's time to dispel all doubts.

In order for the roses you acquired to take root well, you must be responsible for the preparation of the soil. Of course, in the summer cottage there is no need to choose the soil: what is, it is. But this circumstance, most species of roses does not overshadow in any way, since they adapt well to various soil conditions. All you need to do with the "infertile" soils is to feed them well, not forgetting to add rotted manure. Roses, growing and caring for these flowers begins with digging up the area where they will grow. This must be done, as in the loose, enriched with oxygen land, flowers are easier to take root. Next, you need to dig out spacious and deep pits so that you can neatly place the root system in them. Please note that if the roots of the seedling are excessively large, they must be slightly shortened. Place one seedling in the center, and if the roots grow in the same direction, then at the wall of the pit. Fill the hole with earth, making sure that vaccinations are also covered. Top seedling must be watered.

Further flower care will consist of timely watering, top dressing and loosening of the earth. Roses are very fond of moisture, and if they lack it, the plants lag behind in development, the flowers are smaller, and the leaves turn yellow. Since weather moisture is often not enough, roses have to be watered independently. It’s better to do it less often, but more abundantly. So, pouring roses once a week, pour about 10 liters of water under each bush. After watering, always loosen the ground, but so as not to damage the root system. The first feeding of flowers is carried out until the leaves have blossomed, the second when the buds are tied, and the third when the second flowering ends.

That's all the work, finally there will be roses on your site. Growing and caring for them, as you see, does not require large expenditures and time. If you do not have your own house in the village, do not be discouraged, but start growing roses at home. Of course, you are unlikely to get garden views in the apartment, although this option is not excluded, but indoor types of roses - it's as simple as that. Having bought them in a flower shop, put them on the windowsill, forgetting about the transplant for at least a week. When a flower adapts to new conditions, it can be transplanted into a flower pot. At first, take care of the indoor rose from the sun, better keep on the north window. Make sure that there are no drafts; indoor roses do not like them very much . Cultivation and care in the future is associated with abundant watering, loosening the soil in a pot and top dressing. Do not forget to remove faded flowers, thereby prolonging flowering.

Rosemary can be a wonderful room rose neighbor, and not only because the names are consonant. If you want something unusual at home, then be sure to get rosemary. Growing from the seeds of this tree is not an easy task, but grateful. Get seeds in a flower shop, plant them in pots and wait for a beautiful tree buried in greenery and small flowers to grow near your room rose . By the way, rosemary can be used in bonsai, but traditional healers know how to use it to cure various diseases.
